When I opened the dishwasher, little rivers of water ran down the interior of the door. The dishes and the interior walls had an unbelievable amount of water. I called Best Buy and they replaced it with an exact model. We all thought the first dishwasher was just defective. The second dishwasher did not dry dishes either. I ran the dishwasher on Tuesday, then again on Friday. After being closed for those days, there was a terrible odor of rotten water. Silverware tray is clumsy to unload. It will not stand on the counter, it has to lay flat. I am now waiting to get a GE model installed. Best Buy has been wonderful to make things right.

I was able to install the dishwasher myself (30's stay-at-home mom). The dishwasher works great. I love that there is a 1-hour cycle for those times you need the dishes asap. The drawers move smoothly and the dishwasher runs very quietly.

Replaced a Frigidaire model (that sounded like a harrier taking off) with a quiet hum. It's not silent, but for a low-mid price point, the whirlpool gold delivers sleek visuals, excellent cleaning power and a reasonable decibel level.
