||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher (Model WDT730PAHZ0, Serial FD2331872) from Best Buy in August 2024 as a new appliance. It was delivered and installed by Best Buy. Recently, the dishwasher stopped working, and when we checked the serial number with Whirlpool, we discovered it was manufactured in June 2014 — meaning the unit was already 10 years old when sold to me. At no point did Best Buy disclose that this was an aged product, clearance, or open-box item. It was sold and priced as new. Selling a 10-year-old machine as “new” is misleading and unfair. Beyond the loss of significant useful life, it also raises questions about warranty coverage. I have already reached out to Best Buy with my receipt and the unit’s serial number and am requesting a resolution: either a replacement with a genuinely new dishwasher or a full refund. I’m posting this review so Best Buy will take this issue seriously and ensure no other customers unknowingly receive decade-old stock as “new.”

The buttons stopped working and the machine wouldn’t turn on at all. From the very beginning, it left a noticeable amount of water on the dishes after every cycle, which we knew was a common issue mentioned in other reviews. It was also louder than advertised, even though it was marketed as a “quiet” model. For the price, the reliability and performance were very disappointing.

Worst dishwasher from whirlpool

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is the worst dishwasher, stay away from this dishwasher if you want peace of mind and a working dishwasher. My dishwasher stopped working in 6 weeks and the whirlpool tech came out and ordered the valve and other parts which will take 5 weeks to arrive, now I m stuck with a non working dishwasher for 5 weeks. On top of that, the tech demanded that I remove the dishwasher when he comes back so he can work on it. Never expected this product and service from Whirlpool. Avoid this even if it’s free.
