This is my wife's favorite Christmas movie. Although it still isn't my absolute favorite Christmas movie, after watching this movie over and over each Christmas, it is now amongst my top 5 Christmas movies. Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye and Rosemary Clooney are the leads in a great cast of actors. The singing and dancing numbers are without peer. If nothing else you should watch this movie to watch Bing and Danny do a female impersonation of the two sisters singing act, which gives the sisters time to escape their creditors. The Blu-ray version adds to the already spectacular color the original movie possessed.

We really enjoy watching this movie at Christmas time. If you like old musicals with singers like Bing Crosby, then you’ll enjoy White Christmas. This movie has it all. It’s humorous with a good storyline, lots of great musical numbers, and plenty of heartfelt drama. We got this movie on Blu-ray to keep the quality up with our 4K TV and replace an older copy that was no longer working.

I have owned this movie in VHS form, DVD form and now Bluray. But I never get tired of seeing it. Danny Kaye and Bing Crosby should have done more movies together because their chemistry and timing was so good. The "Sisters routine" has been talked about for years and is always a delight to see but for me it was watching Vera Allen do the very fast paced dance routine called the Abraham near the end of the movie. They don't do routines like that in movies anymore. White Christmas is kind of a sequel to Holiday Inn where Bing sings the titled song I watched it recently while good, it really had nothing to do with Christmas. This movie will stand the test of time as one of the great holiday classics.

Having growing up watching this Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye classic was always enjoyable! Having this on VHS & DVD, I decided to up grade to Blu-Ray which was a no brainer! It has a super HD picture and DTS 5.1 audio sound! It includes 2 additional disc's, the movie on DVD and an extra disc for special features! When seeing this on sale at Best Buy I had to upgrade! I highly recommend this holiday classic for all!

This movie in blu-ray is visually stunning, with vibrant colors throughout. Clooney is beautiful in a shimmering black dress, with red lipstick, blue eyes and blonde hair. Danny Kaye shows off his exceptional talent by singing, dancing and clowning. Vera-Ellen has terrific dance numbers. Crosby's soothing manner and singing are comforting. This movie is a treat anytime, not just at Christmas. Extra featurettes are interesting.

I love the old hollywood musicals, and White Christmas is one of the great ones. It features excellent dancing and classic songs by the great Irving Berlin. It's bit of a remake of Holiday Inn, which also starred Bing Crosby. The blu ray looks fantastic. The story is timeless, and features the song White Christmas among many others you'll know and love. The performances are excellent all around and the color just pops. If you've never seen this, get the blu ray! It's the best looking you'll ever see this film!

Being a huge fan of White Christmas, the bluray version was must have. I own the VHS and DVD version and was interested to see how the quality would stack up. Obviously, being a bluray the quality would be greatly enhanced and it was more than I could have expected. The sometimes stuttering scenes on the DVD were cleaned up and audio sync was greatly enhanced. The packaging and all the extras only add to this great copy.

ACTUALLY PURCHASED THIS FOR A SENIOR HOME WHO COULD APPRECIATE THE STORY

Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, Dean Jagger, Vera-Ellen, Mary Wickes to name a few who play in this 1954 film. Two talented song-and-dance men team up after the war to become one of the hottest acts in show business. One winter, they join forces with a sister act and trek to Vermont for a white Christmas. This is a romance musical with comedy elements as well. The film has nice picture and sound and gets a thumbs up, at least from me.

We haven't watched it yet, but intend to watch it, probably tomorrow. We watched Santa Clause 1, 2 and 3 today and they were excellent, but you didn't picture them to comment on. We have seen this one before snd it's very good.

Timely classic with a great story line! You will love it.

I still believe this is the best Christmas film of all time. I know the song was first introduced in Holiday Inn but this film is far better. The story was a good combination of comedy and drama. I watch it every Christmas. The bluray looks awesome too.

WHITE CHRISTMAS is a bona fide holiday classic. It looks great on Blu-Ray, but potential customers should know that there is an error in Best Buy's listing of a 4 disc package. When it was first released, there were four discs: A Blu-Ray, A DVD, a DVD with special features, and a soundtrack CD. The soundtrack CD was only included with the first release of the package. All subsequent releases only have the Blu-Ray and DVDs.

Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen. The only place to own Rosemary Clooney and Bing Crosby singing while recording together. These two sing and draw us in. Vera-Ellen is a dancing extraordinaire. Of course Danny Kaye makes us feel like we’re just part of the gang. What an awesome classic from classic Hollywood!

If you like Christmas music then this is for you and the whole family. This is another Christmas Classic with a heart warming feelings on how Christmas can bring friends and family together. This will give you a little humor along with some old fashion Christmas Spirit. The song White Christmas is worth this movie all by itself.

The movie is a comical tale of two army buddies who share a common combat bond and meet two ladies in their entertainment industry, and woo them, and at the same time perform an unselfish act to save their respected combat General from falling into bankruptcy after the war. Great music, dancing and comedic acts that make the movie a little long, but worth the watch.

Not a complete Christmas movie marathon until we watch a White Christmas. I've heard folks comment about the redundancy between this movie and Holiday Inn... "Ha! Humbug!" Not a chance. White Christmas is a classic that's not to be missed. Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera-Ellen lit up the silver screen. A must see for the classic Christmas movie connoisseur.

Bing Crosby (Captain Bob Wallace), Danny Kaye (Private Phil Davis), Rosemary Clooney (Betty Haynes), and the always underrated dancer Vera-Ellen (Judy Haynes) are in top form. While not all of Irving Berlin's songs in this film are top-drawer, most are first-rate.

This a must to own as far as movies go with good singing and choreography, Even if you watch it yearly or more, it never loses its charm. It is worthy of watching any time of the year not just as a Christmas classic. The theme of the movie has an inspiring message that is timeless. Help those in need and remember your those you care about no matter the time of year..

this is truly an american christmas classic. grab a copy to add into your collection. feels warm comfy and at home when you play this music during the holidays. songs that lasted for so many years. thanks best buy for the wonderful blu ray deal.
