Not the best not the worst. Worth a shot. Give it a watch

Not as good at Olympus has Fallen. Channing is a poor actor with no gravitas. Jamie Foxx was ill fitted for the role of POTUS and the clichés of plotting and film making were alarmingly irritating. typical Roland Emmerich movie making by the numbers.

Been there, done that, got the post and T-shirt. Well worn territory. Not the best flick so look for it on sale to heighten the enjoyability factor... giving it 2.5 stars.

This is a watchable action movie with excellent video and audio presentation. However, Olympus Has Fallen is a better movie overall.

Why were two exact movies made at the same time. Well, both of them sucked anyway.

Typical action flick with a hero, a clown, a teenage hero and love story built in. Seen it a thousand times before.

Not great wait for it on rental or Netflix and save your money

This movie is great! I love that even through all the action they have a lot of humour. Even though I say this movie is great, there are a few corny parts and lines. For the most part the acting is really good, but I'm real picky when I watch a movie. But one thing that bothered me was the fact that they said all this stuff happened in like half an hour or so, but they did WAY more than most people could have in that time. If I were the creators I would have stuck with a more "real life" time frame. If you have seen it you will understand what I mean. And let's get real- Channing Tatum looks great! Lol and his acting in this film is great, for the most part (one or two times it didn't feel right to me). I would not let kids under 10 watch it, but that is me.

Where to start? This movie was great. Filled with many action packed scenes and a couple of comedic scenes as well, which of course should have seen it coming since Jamie Foxx is int it. Both Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx work together to bring a action/comedic movie all while portraying the seriousness an attack on our nations capital would look like. The one thing that brings it down a bit, is the strong similar story line to that of "Olympus has Fallen". Even still, "White House Down" held its own.
