Excellent. Disney and Looney Tunes characters coming together on screen for the first time. The HDR still keeps this movie very natural and appropriate for a live action film. Cartoons don't look to outlandish compared to the live action elements. The new Dolby Atmos audio presentation makes this worth the upgrade over the standard blu ray. Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg and groundbreaking technology equals a movie you should have in your collection.

This was a good movie from the 80's. I really liked how different animated characters from different production houses were used.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit, the classic mix of live action and animation, was a trend-setter when first released, and it still holds up 25 years later (am I really that old . . . ?) A clever mix of circa 1940's detective flick and wacky cartoon characters, the movie should be no surprise to most of us. What IS a surprise is how wonderful it looks on bluray. It just goes to show that a carefully crafted, big-budget production from the 80's can still look new and fresh with today's technology. The special features are virtually identical to the previous special edition dvd, so if you already own it, you won't lose anything by trading up. That having been said, there isn't any new material here either. Still, a highly recommended release to add to you catalogue.

Pre CGI and still holds up. I truly miss fun films like this and dread the day physical media disappears

I've loved this movie since childhood. I believe it's the first movie of its kind where they combined animation with live action. It stars Christopher Lloyd, Bob Hoskins, and Charles Fleischer (voice of Roger Rabbit), among others. It has laughs for adults and children alike. I highly recommend this movie. It still stands up to this day. And this is the 2-disc anniversary addition with lots of extra features.

It is perhaps the most iconic animated/live action film ever, perhaps even more so than Toy Story, The Lion King, etc. The movie brings a creative idea, where what if cartoons are real and they exist in the same world as real life people. The film has an incredible concept based on a surreal style of humor.

Though live action and animation have been combined before, i.e. Marry Poppins, this movie is an advancement. True that is true of each succeeding combo movie, this for the time showed a high creative level with the actors doing an excellent playing off sticks, puppets and costumed actors. The movie also showed in a humorous way the problems of bigotry and prejudice in a more suttle than in your face manner. This makes the subject manner easier to watch. The movie is enjoyable to watch and, I feel aged very well for the 25 years it has been out. I recommend this for adults and children even with Jessica Rabbit's artwork.

I bought this Blu-Ray at a great price( $5.99) and it is a good investment. The picture is bright and very clear.Colors are good and saturated. shadows and black levels are very good and you see slight grain so you still get that film quality. 5.1 sound track is clear and punchy .bass is good. I watched on a 100 inch projector and was reminded of theater presentation.

Without a doubt, WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT is a stone-cold classic family film. This 4K release only confirms it, with improved picture and sound that improves on previous versions. All of the features from earlier DVDs and Blu-rays are included, which doesn't always happen nowadays with re-releases. Very much worth the upgrade.

An Animaniacs dream in real life as all the major studios animated characters up through the late 1940's brought into one film for 104 minutes of Zany redemption for Roger Rabbit & Eddie Valiant, a must for those looking to remember a fantastic bygone era in the drudgery of the present Live Action and Animation blend very well with a few changes from the Novel it was adapted from.
