We won't have a permanent window unit, my wife is a CSI and she says they just kick those things in and break in. Needless to say we needed and easy AC that would cool us down. SoCal is sunny like 11 months a year. We've had this unit for a little over 2 years and it doesn't blow as chilly as we'd like, it's still our go to. Unit cools a medium-size room pretty well and in a larger room using it with a standing fan we were nice and cool. We just bought a second one because it does what we need.

Only used this once here. Hasn't gotten warm enough but so far so good. Cooling our living room which is west facing with all windows, I'll know better once the summer comes but I have high hopes for this AC. We can't put regular AC into windows so this set up works great. Noice is. Jo different than a regular windo AC

Excellent portable AC. Using it in So. Cal when temps reach 95 or higher. Using it in a room much larger than recommended yet it still cools the room enough to make it pleasant. I use it with additional fans to help circulate the cool air. When used in this large room, it won't get down to the temperature set on the AC, but cools the room enough to be comfortable. Noise level is not a problem. Not as loud as expected from reading other reviews.

This air conditioner cools spaces much larger than I thought it could handle. I even used some fans to "move" the cool air to the other end of the house, and it worked great! It's also a lot quieter than a less expensive brand that I had before. EXTRA POINTS for the dual vents. I hate emptying water and this doesn't need it.

We purchased this unit to cool our bedroom at night. We have a two story house with two a/c units (one for the upstairs and one for the downstairs). We didn't want to use the large upstairs unit to cool just our bedroom and this unit exactly fits our needs. It takes minutes to install into any window and is not any noisier than our fans. We have a very high ceiling and large bedroom - so happy we purchased this!

I live in Florida with record high heat this year and this ac is an absolute treasure right now. Worth every penny.

We live in an apartment where we have air conditioning in every room except our bedroom. I'm so glade we got this thing! It saved us from the 100 degree weather that started early June. It's not loud, it makes our room feel cool within 10 minutes, and it doesn't take up that much space! Definitely worth it!

Doesn't require a drip pan or emptying out any water so super convenient and cools down my 32' travel trailer great and that's exactly what I bought it for definitely recommend this ac if your super busy and just enjoy your rest and want to be lazy when you're home from a long day of work like myself.

Unit cools garage , but takes a while . When received the unit was broken and making a scrapping sound . Located the source of noise and the debris screen was airing on squirrel cage blower. All mounting tabs were broken off. No damage to the shipping box . So must have happened during assembly.

So far so good just know you have to have a dedicated power line because it will trip shared breakers. It does cool the room fast!

It does the most important thing, which is to cool the room! It would have been nice if they had provided the hose filter out of the box and some smart(app based) features. But i still give it 5 because none of that would matter if it didn't do the cooling job properly.

This unit is Spectacular. Heavy for a female to carry but cools my apartment. Love it

Having never had a portable or any other type of air conditioner before, we are pleased by the performance. It is a little difficult to move from room to room, but easy to do the window installation. If you want something to cool the portion of the house you are in, and to be able to move it to a different section at night, I can endorse this product. It is very well built and the instructions are easy to understand. Until this year, we never needed air conditioning, because our house is well insulated and we could open it up when it cooled down at night. But now, with the perpetual smoke, we can't open up and using this with the intake in the house and the heated air going out through the window works well.

Works really well! Cools things down nicely in the hot humid summer. I took off a star because I would have liked some kind of a handle or place to grab when wheeling it around.
