Don't waste your time or money

Service was initially ordered incorrectly and charged wrong by tech after mistake brought to his attention; appointments rescheduled 3 times without my consent; service was marked complete after missed appointment and no installation done. Took over a month and still did not get my service or resolution. Tried to charge me for service order mistake that was tech's fault with written proof in chat transcript. Best Buy lost a long time customer. Keep your chat transcripts and log every interaction with Best Buy, Totaltech and Geek Squad.

DO NOT RECOMMEND - RUN AWAY FAST

They never listened to me, and kept setting the appointment for when I told them I was unavailable. I called multiple times asking for a manager, but they never called me back. I asked to hold until one could come to the phone and they said no. This service was so ridiculously pathetic that I cancelled my membership with them and hired someone out of my own pocket to do the installation.

Best Buy needs to have their own people to talk to, not someone thousands of miles.away and can't troubleshoot

geek squad hooked up sound bar on tv

Geek sub contractor focused on quick out.

Your subcontractor to Geek was more interested in rushing to leave then helping me resolve the the problem. I finally after the service tech left spoke with sales agent to was to call me today with a solution Tom M. He never called me today 12/2. He did acknowledge he sold me the wrong solar panel. Really really bad over all experience with this whole sale on this transaction. Had problems before this just getting scheduled. Now waiting for final replacement and install. This is my second Florida home that I specifically flew to get this install done.

Very disappointed.

Slip on installing front camera.

The worst customer service experience ever!

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Geek Squad Technician was scheduled to be at my home between 8a-12p EST and came 3.5 hours late! After repeatedly calling customer service he arrived but claims his GPS wasn’t working. What makes things worst he didn’t have any (tools, business cards or ID) on hand and claims he couldn’t do the install because I had 2 Ring Spotlight Cams (which I paid for & requested to be installed while scheduling the in store appt. NOW I’m waiting on to speak with a qualified Geek Squad CSR rep to answer my call - let’s just say this is my 3rd attempt to reach that agent! Anyone interested in purchasing their installation service - DON’T! Buyer be aware “First and last time for me!”

Security cameras install

They do not have idea/knowledge on why video door bell was not working after install.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This item is still NOT installed after numerous scheduled appointments, they do NOT show up to complete the work, they do not call when they are running late. I had to call 2 times this time as followup (1 hour and a 1/2 h old times) to talk to a call center that cant speak english, transfers you to another hold, cannot resolve issues. AFter all this,I still did not get service, and no NEw appointment set (doubtful after 4-5 already scheduled appointments not showing to do the job) This Service I purchased at a heavy cost that is supposed to make you priority , does not deliver what they claim they will do.

Wrong camera installed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am to date still waiting for a refund for the install service as the wrong camera was installed. I was told by the very rude woman at gs support out of Kentucky I had to remove the camera and return it. I did just that and installed the correct camera myself. After some phone calls it was determined that the camera was miss marked at the store that is how the gs tech ended up with the wrong camera to begin with. In the end I ordered the correct camera gs brought and installed the wrong camera I spoke with an extremely rude customer support rep removed camera returned to the fort Myers store location for the correct camera and installed myself. I feel I am entitled a refund for the install as I ended up removing returning and installing the new camera. Thank you
