I guess this got decent reviews, but I just couldn't keep my attention on it

Turned it off after the first 10 minutes. I don’t believe they made this movie in 4K.

I bought this product in Feb 2019 and it went out on me yesterday. The return time was March 2019....just before it broke down. Actually I checked on line and this product has a lot of issues. I believe based on all the negative reports Samsung should have recalled this product or repair it.

I still have yet to watch, but the trailer looked good.

kind of dull. Expected to like this better. It might be worth checking out the earlier British television series by Lynda La Plante (Prime Suspect), which this movie was an adaptation of.

I purchased the complete series of hannibal but several of the dvd's will not play and I cannot return this because I did not keep the receipt

Don't waste your time...the twist at the end is absolutely absurd. Performances are solid, but with a silly plot like this, not worth watching.

In seemingly an instant, a car holding a prospective Chicago alderman cruises from the projects to his gated, gentrified estate on the outskirts of the 18th ward. The windows are tinted, and Steve McQueen's camera lingers on the exterior of the car and the environment it passes through, with the audio tuned into the conversation inside the vehicle. Never does the featured dialogue mention the people as a collective body worth saving, but merely as polls, numbers, statistics of a victory of whiteness and old money, all while the world passes by, unnoticed and uncared for. Widows confronts the idea of homogeneity within the American system as an unwavering obstacle that can only be fought via assimilation. To succeed is to blend. Being a politician is no different than a gang member or a thief, as long as the paycheck clears. The difference is that white men have a choice. A corrupt government breeds corrupt processes and institutions that interlink through the architecture and relationships and diners and bed sheets. These women must steal and kill to live a normal life while white men choose to do so, and while a black alderman candidate is running to be legitimate, rarely do people see him as such, instead donning a suit and tie while a psychopathic henchman does the same work he's always done to get the ball rolling. The system, from the inside out, will break you. And there is no way of getting ahead if you were born three steps behind. Widows offers stories of people trying anyway - lighting the fuse of change by reverting to the mistakes of their husbands and the men they've dealt with. A smile can shift the landscape of the world, especially if she's accomplished it in her own way, a new day sun radiating after a cup of coffee. This is Heat for those who've always wanted a version about the women who stuck with their dumb manly men, and yet, the ultimate tragedy is that America forces them to don the same masks and perpetuate the same actions of what ruined the lives of their significant others. It's a searing, pulse-pounding, emotional crowdpleaser - completely unlike McQueen and still as clear-eyed, unflinching, and overwhelming as his filmography entails, and it's bursting with an all-timer ensemble. The leading ladies will melt your face off, and so will this whole movie. Shot and cut via fragments of passion, grief, calculation, and history - this genre movie is deeply upset at the world and at itself for even existing, but awareness is key. Widows forces you not to blink. And how can you when Viola Davis, Michelle Rodriguez, Elizabeth Debicki, and Cynthia Erivo are tearing up the screen? Essential.

The movie was boring not worth the money. I reget buying it.

It's a pretty good movie to make action like I thought it would be but it's a decent watch

Viola is phenomenal as usual. And I love the ending of the movie.

Fascinating, visceral female-driven thriller, exciting a character-driven in equal measure. The blu ray print is very good with sharp visuals and robust sound.

One of 2018’s best (and underrated) films gets a great 4K release from Fox. Decent making-of doc, too.
