Remembered seeing this when it released in theaters. The special effects are not up to today's standards, but it is still a good movie.

I always liked this movie and could never find it.

Regardless of 80s visual effects. Film still exceeds fantasy expectations. Glad it was re-released out on blu-ray for a short period of time.

The last edition of Willow goes for a lot of coin in stores. It had a blu-Ray + DVD. This edition swaps out the DVD for a digital download.

I was probably too young when this movie came out to see it in a theater. I had always heard of it, but it wasn't until more recently that I finally watched it. Overall, as someone who does not get into Fantasy and doesn't really enjoy LOTR, I worried I wouldn't be able to get into this. Then I realized this was filmed in REAL locations, and had fun special effects. Of course it could be done better today, but for 1988 this was quite impressive! Val Kilmer, who I enjoy in most movies, is the best of the bunch here as Madmartigan. His future wife is here and she's a beauty to behold. Willow, played by the guy who was the Leprechaun in Leprechaun, is also well done. The movie is a little episodic but that can easily be forgiven. If you love 80s movies like I do, please buy this one!

Over the top fantasy fun with Val Kilmer at gus brooding best. Such a great flick years before anything like GOT or LotR

Willow has been on my wish list for some time. The wait was worth it for the HD release of a classic fantasy adventure

It was great watching this movie on blu ray. I remember it in the theatres. This movie had it all. Highly recommend it!

Not many people know George Lucas was involved in this movie Willow. Will starring Val kilmer one of the best actors of his day. The story goes that a little girl was destined to be Queen and take over the throne of the evil queen. Matt Martin and Willow find the baby and have to take her to a certain Kingdom to defeat the queen. The adventures the mishaps the craziness that they go through is incredible The storyline is really good. The special effects are good cuz it's supposed to be you know an old class film. All in all I own willow both on DVD and now Blu-ray. I got lucky to find the Blu-ray about 60% off at $8.99. regularly 1999. Great fine excellent movie.

Its great to have this movie in my collection again, my only gripe is why was there no steelbook edition?

can't believe it's been 30 yrs since i first saw this in theaters. and still holds up to this day.

This takes me back to when I was young. I loved the myth and magic from this late 80s film.

I was happy to see this remastered on Blu Ray and I knew I had to get it to relive my childhood.

Always loved this movie but was hard to find. Glad they came out with 30th Anniversary edition.
