Classic movie great to see on 4K looking forward to alot of older movies to come out on 4K to make my 4K collection even bigger

Forget the Tim Burton with a creepy Johnny Depp, this is still the one you want to watch. Happily, it's not dated too badly, and you will want to listen to the commentary track with the former kids, including how the girls used to fight over Charlie!

No remake will ever replace this movie. It has so many moral values and I think examines many personal conflicts. To have the world , but to have no one to share it with, or to dream with. Lovely film.

Timeless classic about Charlie and his grandfather trip to the wonderful world of Willy Wonka. The Oompah Loompas are great lesson teachers and the songs are wonderful. I highly recommend this movie for the whole family.

I was surprised to find this movie in Blu-ray. This is one of my favorite Gene Wilder movies and was so happy to spot it in my local Best Buy. Plan to watch it with my eight year old granddaughter.

I have been trying for a while to convert my movie collection to Blu Ray so I was really excited to find this movie. I have always enjoyed watching this movie it is one of those fun movies to watch.

This review is not based on the movie but rather the fact that what I purchased was not what I received. This was supposed to be 4K + BluRay + Digital Copy….what I received was missing the digital copy. Not the first time this has happened. I have had to return several items that was not what was ordered. Do a better job…if you don’t have what I ordered then don’t ship it…just refund my money and save me a trip to the store.

Really impressive that they could up convert such an old movie. It’s not like it was shot in 4K but it looks pretty good

Gene Wilder is fantastic. The film has a moral and is one that both child and parent will enjoy watching..........over and over again. The music is familiar and catchy and reminds you of being young.

Every time I watch Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, I feel like I'm a child again. It's a confection wrapped in nostalgia. I never grow tired of it, even though I've seen it dozens of times in my lifetime. The blu ray doesn't have the most spectacular picture quality, but it is an improvement over my old dvd copy. The digibook itself, however, is fantastic. Great packaging for a great film.

Hands down one of the great classics! Looks amazing on bluray!!! If you have the opportunity to upgrade and get the special edition box set- DO IT! fantastic set that includes great replica memorabilia!

This is a great movie from my childhood, but it scared the young ones in my family. This movie would most definitely receive a PG rating today, so be careful before showing it to the young ones in your family.

Remastering old films must be difficult task because there is some great remasters and then there is some that look like it wasn't even touched. In this case it is ok, worth it for the price.

Love this adaption of my favorite childhood book. Watching in blu-ray beats the quality of my DVD version.

This brings back memories of my childhood. Now my kids can experience the fun and excitement for themselves.

Beautiful release. One of the premiere on the 4K format. Upgrade it even if you own the bluray. Note: WB will remove Digitals at will, so if your copy does not have a slipcover it may not have a digital copy.
