You can't beat Gene Wilder for Willy Wonka. He was perfect and the rest of the cast was perfect too. Also, the colors are fabulously sharp in Blu-ray.

This is easily the best this classic will ever look or sound. Highly recommended.

Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, How can you live with out owning it now in 4K

The movie looks great. There is still some grain in scenes but overall its a vast improvement from the DVD that I've been watching all these years. Still keeps the interest of my kids. The sound could have been tweaked a bit.
