    Go this to upgrade a DVD that I've had for years. Very worthwhile. Much to be preferred over the Tim Burton/Johnny Depp version, largely thanks to Wilder.

    Johnny Depp couldn't touch the performance of Gene Wilder for Willy Wonka. Great movie, dark and sinister with a childish overtone. Love this movie and you will too!

    I remember watching this movie with my grandparents. What parent wouldn't want to have Charlie as a kid. Always a little taken back by all 4 grandparents stuck in the same bed at home, but at least one of them has a reason to get out of bed. Good Movie.

    Had to grab this movie. Being the great actor rescently had passed, needed this in my collection so that my kids could enjoy what I did when I was young.

    I bought this movie for my son who had only seen the remake. He doent understand why they remade it because this one is much better. Who doesn't love a great comedy.

    I was in vegas and they had a slot machine based on the movie. After listening to the music in the game, I couldn't help but get the movie. A timeless classic.

    Again one of the classics anybody and everybody should own this movie the Remake was pretty good Johnny Depp did a great job but the original blows it away
