I bought this AC in early July. The AC is energy efficient, as it used most 9-10 kwh/day during the heatwave, and set at 70F. Another great feature is its low level of noise. It sounds more like a fan, rather than other AC brands. The design is pretty and its easy to install. The downside is a bit pricey but its worth the money. I'm very happy with purchase.

Aesthetically pleasing, noise level is great, not too loud for a big unit, but it does not cool my entire living room, it only makes it fresh when outside temperature is in the 70 degrees. But so far in 80 and 90 degree days it has not been efficient. I am not sure if the AC unit is not performing well due to the AC sleeve not having a lot of ventilation, or what other reason could be. I would love to return it and get a bigger unit. Maybe a 14k BTU for my 300sq ft living room but I didn’t realize Best Buy only offers a 15 day return period. So overall I cannot say it’s a bad unit but it has not worked for my space

It’s quiet, efficient, and the installation kit makes this a top notch air conditioner! Love the smart features and that it can be controlled with the app and Amazon Alexa. A few days in, it began to malfunction and the internal thermostat was reading very low (like 46 degrees) which made the eco mode and being able to have it run to a set temperature impossible. The manufacturer was very responsive for technical support and they ultimately replaced the unit for us. So far the new one is working great! I hope it was a rare fluke and not a brand/design flaw. We own 2 others just like this but less btu’s and so far, they’re working great!

Very quiet. Easy installation! Excellent Design! Sleek looking. Cooling works ad well as any others that I have used. Does not blow right at you!

Extremely quiet and cools my entire apartment efficiently and effectively and it’s not eye sore! The app is extremely helpful especially when on the way home from being out all day love coming back to a cool place with out having to have the ac running all day.

Absolutely love my Windmill AC! It's shockingly quiet, and the level of cold it produces is impressive! Not to menion it looks beautiful inside and outside. Plus the install was so easy!

This was an absolute dream to install. With its clear, easy to follow instruction and extra parts designed not to challenge or confuse, making the installation process seamless. When finished the new Windmill fit my office window like a glove. And when first turning it on and within minutes the room cooled, the aptly named Windmill, made me realize why man created AC's - and Windmill were smart enough to perfected it! I thank you, my room thank you and my cats thank you.

Best air conditioner on the market(in my opinion) quiet, efficient, quick to cool, and finically cold air blown up to cool from top to bottom. Awesome! Can’t go wrong with this one. I replaced all my old units with these

The hype is real. other brands claim similar noise decibels but that’s laughable. Other ACs with the condensers are incredibly louder and vibrate so much it shakes the house. I can feel it in my pillow, so we returned another and got this one. It’s more money but you can tell right away where your money is going. Everything from the box to the cute packaging is well designed and has cute phrases on it like “this will be a breeze” to setup. They give you scissors to cut the complimentary foam and vanity panels. Just think about that. They’re so concerned about your install experience they eat the expense of buying all their customers scissors. The other brands don’t do that. The app is nice, it has a built in feature to tell you how much energy youre using. The remote is a clean minimalist design that’s easy to navigate in the dark. It has a stylish grill on the back that keeps you from cutting up your fingers on the metal blades. The side wings are superior quality and pre installed inside the box. It’s just ready to go. Instructions are easy. It has a QR code sticker on the face of the unit to help you get setup quickly. It’s all well done. And it’s far far quieter. Yes you hear the fan noise as others point out. But get a fan, and guess what? Fan noise. The compressor is drowned out by the fan. That should blow your face off. It’s so quiet the condenser is quieter than the fan noise. YOURE NOT LISTENING IF THAT DOESNT SHOCK YOU. Other brands condenser will rattle your teeth. I know. I just returned another one.

This AC was easy to install. Is very quiet and does a nice job cooling the 1st floor.

This AC is super quiet on the low setting - so much so that you might even forget that it's on. Love that you can turn it on in advance with the app.

Ignore the hype. While it looks great and installs easily, that's where my positive experience ended. After 6 weeks of intermittent use, the thing is dead in the water. Support is nonexistent and just gives the runaround. No phone number. Only email support that goes nowhere. Avoid this company and their products.

Cools down my studio apartment well. Easy install and comes with everything needed.

Appears to have died on me with mere months of purchase and use. Not sure if there was a problem which also caused it to fail at its basic job of cooling roughly 650sq ft or less. Two stars because customer service with windmill has been responsive so far, but a failure should not have happened so soon, especially on the highest price model

I installed this unit for my older neighbor who can't lift anything heavy. It's well built, and it comes with more permanent insulated foam finish panels, which looks 10 times better than the accordion sliders alone, and provides less loss of cold air in the summer, and heated air in the winter if you leave the unit installed. BEST PART FOR ME BEING THE NEIGHBOR WHOSE HOUSE IS 20 FT AWAY, IS THAT IT IS SOOOOO MUCH QUIETER THANK THE PREVIOUS UNIT SHE HAD!!! The old unit was so loud, i couldn't leave my windows open.

This product is worth the purchase. Its quiest and efficient.
