If there was less than 1 star this is the rating that I would give. I purchased a window unit in December to replace the one that I currently have. The first time I was told that I was kicked off that schedule by accident. The 2nd time they did not show up. The 3rd time the installers came and said that due to me having Japanese plugs in my house they could not install the air conditioner. I decided to get Best Buy to come and get the unit. This was the worse experience I have ever had with Best Buy in all the years that I have been buying from them and no one seemed to care. The unit sat in my living room from December to Feburary.

The installation process was a nightmare. First the installation was scheduled by the store associate before the item was scheduled to be delivered. Contacting Customer Support is a farce. I was waited over 30 minutes on multiple calls to finally get it rescheduled. On the day of installation the arrival window passed and I again called. I was assured someone was on the way. Needless to say no one ever showed up or bothered to call. When I went to Best Buy to get a refund for the service no one seemed to think it was an issue that no one showed up. The associate didn't extend an apology. His comment was , oh we use a 3rd party for installation. I guess that was his attempt at custumer service.

Dry knowledgeable and worked quickly and carried all debris away

The vent was broken when they unpacked the unit and were removing the tape. The installers said they would get in touch with best buy to have it fixed.... never happened. Tried calling best buy amd they were not helpful.

Works well enough but is extremely loud and rattles a lot!

The installer was very inept. After trying to ram the metal strips that support the hose connection at our preferred window for the air conditioner. We had to let him install it at another window that was wider. It was a very sloppy installation with several small gaps. After the installation team left. I moved the air conditioner so it would face the long end of the room. Much to my surprise the installer had no properly connected either end of the house. I feel that I spent a lot of money for very poor service.

Worse than a poor rating !! Sat home all day for installer and nobody showed. Made 2nd appointment,sat home all day from 8am to 8pm and nobody showed. After that customer service didn't even have the courtesy to call me and offer another appointment. Had to find someone else to do the installation. Worse experience ever !!! These people are TERRIBLE !!!!!

Didn’t come the day they were supposed to. I had to call and then they said oh yeah we very busy. They came the next day but air conditioner is not on right

Read Best Buy reviews. Several of them mentioned that the unit did not cool well enough. I should’ve paid attention to those, not the ones that like the unit.

They never installed it. Every time installer came i get different stories. Even though best buy Geek squad was suppose to install it. I had to hire someone else to come and install it.

I am happy with this protection because i know i am all cover.

NO STARS Worse experience ever with this company! The air conditioner still hasn’t been installed YET! first the installers truck breaks down last week, this week the the installer is looking for my air conditioner at a warehouse when it’s on my porch waiting for him to arrive to install it. But he never calls to ask me. Two full days wasted so far,Incompetent people, and poor communications. Do not recommend !
