The movie was not what I was expecting. And my boyfriend kept saying how it sucked so I turned it off.

Movie was interesting and touching. There was great acting.

I know Jennifer Lawrence gets all the publicity and notoriety for this film, but personally, I think John Hawkes' performance is more noteworthy. He's excellent as Teardrop, there's a reason why he was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. This movie is definitely worth watching.

I really enjoyed the film, and for the price Best Buy is letting it go for right now (4.99), it was well worth the purchase. This is the movie that propelled Jennifer Lawrence into stardom.

Early Jennifer Lawrence role. Does a good job. Good bleak drama, tho a bit slow.

Overall a good story. A little slow in spots, but the characters are worth it.
