    No stars! Not a single one. I told them at checkout the time and date window when someone will "make themselves available" aka "give up their time" and will be waiting for the technicians arrival. The install day comes and we waited all day for the technician to come. Call the technician no answer. Then several hours after the window the technician wants to call me and tell me he's on his way? Uh uh. I scheduled an appointment for a reason. To not waste people time. And they ended up wasting mine

    This item is still NOT installed after numerous scheduled appointments, they do NOT show up to complete the work, they do not call when they are running late. I had to call 2 times this time as followup (1 hour and a 1/2 h old times) to talk to a call center that cant speak english, transfers you to another hold, cannot resolve issues. AFter all this,I still did not get service, and no NEw appointment set (doubtful after 4-5 already scheduled appointments not showing to do the job) This Service I purchased at a heavy cost that is supposed to make you priority , does not deliver what they claim they will do.

    Had geek squad tech help with my connection, was very professional and very helpful to set up my ring device, he did advice that my WiFi was little weak

    I requested Geek Squad service to connect the Lorex Camera system we purchased back before Christmas 2021, We waited almost a month for the day the technician was to arrive to perform the work, the morning they were to show up we received a call stating they had to cancel, I had to reschedule then waiting again for almost a month, 2 days before the are due to come I receive a call stating they cannot come & reschedule a future date making us wait another 17 days. I have my doughts they will even show up, it will be another BS excuse as why not to come. One star rating is to much, service is super poor!!!

    During an initial appointment set the agent was unable to install the cameras, an appointment had to be rescheduled to have someone that knew what they were doing go out for the install. The second agent never showed up to the appointment and marked the service as complete. The third time around trying to schedule another appointment has been impossible. I have called to have the third appointment scheduled and it has yet to be scheduled by the agent I speak to.

    DISAPPOINTED WITH GEEK SQUAD

    My scheduled service order has been canceled and re-scheduled four times by Best Buy/Geek Squad. On each occasion I've waited all day for the Best But/Geek Squad, and it was a no-show. I didn't even receive a phone call. When I call Best Buy, the representative promises that someone will call to resolve my issue, but no one ever calls me back. I call back, wait over 30 minutes on hold, and I'm told that the only thing they can do is re-schedule my order (Order #1121344540585). Each time that I reschedule the whole "no-show" process repeats itself. I have no confidence in Best Buy's customer service.

    Wrong camera installed

    I am to date still waiting for a refund for the install service as the wrong camera was installed. I was told by the very rude woman at gs support out of Kentucky I had to remove the camera and return it. I did just that and installed the correct camera myself. After some phone calls it was determined that the camera was miss marked at the store that is how the gs tech ended up with the wrong camera to begin with. In the end I ordered the correct camera gs brought and installed the wrong camera I spoke with an extremely rude customer support rep removed camera returned to the fort Myers store location for the correct camera and installed myself. I feel I am entitled a refund for the install as I ended up removing returning and installing the new camera. Thank you

Generally speaking, if a service such as installation is completed, typically refund of that service wouldn’t be an option.     Installation of Solar Panel

    Geek Squad personnel installed the solar panel where it can get no sun. As of today, my camera is still showing 1% charge. Geek Squad needs to rerun to my home and remove and install in a location that will get sun.

    No Show on installation of equipment

    Horrible! I have tried to get my items installed since November 2022, and it is January 2023. The third part with Best Buy constantly reschedule to dates I didn’t ask for and they do it after I have scheduled with Best Buy TotalTech program! I feel like I am in 3 ring circus without the tents. Note I was scheduled to get the security cameras and door bells install and they were a NO SHOW! If I could give the third party a -star I would. Giving them and Best Buy a one is going against my principles.

    TOTAL DISASTER. Don't use Best Buy or Geek Squad. They use subcontractors who did not come when stated, expect you to hold a 12-hour window until the night before, and then rescheduled 5 times. I am super disappointed. I called the special help line and was disconnected. I ended up returning this item and hiring someone independently to get it done.

    You have now changed my installation on this twice. Your service has gone downhill considerably. I was booked for installation on December 30 you called on 29 to make excuses why you couldn’t but guaranteed you would be there on January 2. Now today, December 31 you call to say you can’t do it then either. And lo and behold your schedule is full for that day. Your employee problems is not my problem. If I told my customers I had “help issues” I would be laughed out of their offices. Poor management is your problem and has been for some time. I have in writing your persons guarantee they be there Saturday, big joke!!! I will take my business to local businesses from now on.....

    Internet speed for cameras

    Make sure you have the correct Internet speed before you purchase these cameras because you will not be able to return them after 14 days. I had to reschedule and Geek Squad had told me that it would never expire, but what they did not explain is, if you can't get the Internet speed after the second or third, even reschedule that you still will not be able to return the cameras. After having a baby and being out of commission for nine months, I the manager would not assist due to my situation.

    The visit window was 7am-12pm, I didn’t get a confirmation call The day before as stated, a person called me at 1 PM and told me they will be there at 1:30 Max, then at 1:50 I called him and they said they’re still on the way and he gave me the wrong address, so I gave him the right address and he said he is still 35-45 minutes away. At that point I told him to forget it since I have other things to do and I took the day off for this. Very disappointing since I used Best Buy installation services before and they were great.
