    This was my first experience at Best Buy and I’m not sure it could have gone any worse. My first point of contact was the kid on the sales floor, he was awesome, but it went steadily downhill from there. I was originally scheduled for install about a week after my purchase. I had an appt for 8am-4pm, got a call at 11am saying they wouldn’t be coming. This happened 5 more times, the exact scenario or some version of it. Eventually they showed up and installed the tv but could not do the security system. I had workmen show up and say they did not even know why they were there, that “the ticket didn’t say anything except to go to my address”, when I googled Best Buy complaints, this was definitely a constant issue that many others mentioned. I have spent countless hours on the phone, every customer service agent apologizes profusely and mentions that they would be upset too, but no on ever does anything or calls me back. Purchase was made in February, competed in June. I eventually called the store manager, he seemed very kind, and to take it seriously, told me he had a death in the family and never called me back.

    To say I am annoyed by this whole process would be an understatement. I initially purchased Ring battery security cameras on Dec 21st. They were to be delivered and installed on Dec 28th. I received a call on the 28th that the cameras were not available and I needed to rescheduled. I called and after a week of being given the run around I was able to reschedule on the 3rd of January. When I went online, I noticed that the respondant never actually scheduled the install. I ended up going into the Central 75 location on Jan 5 and the associate decided to cancel the order and rebook. The earliest he could schedule was for the following Monday. I went online that Monday to check and confirm the appt and noticed that was NEVER booked either so I ended up booking it for the Wednesday, Jan 11th. Now its Jan 11th and I receive a call from the dispatcher that they are unable to come and I would need to reschedule. This is now 3+ weeks and still have not been resolved. Highly disappointed in this.

    Install of cameras was completed by a third party and did not work properly due to wifi issues. No real advice was provided for next steps. I called Geek squad and asked for a site visit by a Geek squad professoinal and I suggested to them what I thought might help to make the cameras work properly. Not the usual great service that we normally receive from Geek Squad.

    Still can’t get one of the cameras to work

    Still can’t get one of the cameras to work. Contacted Best Buy geek squad and they are coming back out to see if they can get it to sync up. It was purchased new Wi-Fi and still not working. Fingers crossed

    Cameras were mounted, however tech forgot his drill and could not mount the cameras correctly for best view. Best Buy notified, however not heard back from them.

    After 3 no shows someone finally showed up and said that I was missing a QR code so he could not install even though he definitely could have used the serial numbers for set up and had nothing to do with the actual mounting of the cameras and left. I was charged for an install and it took weeks of long lines home calls to get my money back.

    Was misled by installer. Was told power supplies were not available and would have to use solar panels for the camera's. Best Buy's website has the power supplies at 20 dollars a piece. Wires from panels were just left hanging. One panel is not even in the sun light. At 70 a piece its money wasted. The camera's that were installed are easy enough to do yourself.
