    Solar panel placed in wrong position. Does not catch the sun to charge ring camera. Very, very unhappy.

    Junk! Arlo solar panel will not charge in sun! South exposure and no charge! Will return! Will return all of Arlo equipment! Ultra 2 can’t record live or 30 seconds during an event! Cost lots and no results worth a crap! Going back to Nest!!!

    Nice guy, terrible quality of installing and setup. After complaining Andy calling the salesman, with no answer or call back from my message, who sold me this I finally just decided to go it on my own. I called Ring and with their assistance I managed to setup everything myself and it now works great, no thanks to geek squad or Best Buy. I’m definitely reconsidering my Best Buy purchases for the future!

    Long story short, I paid and was then stood up by Geek Squad THREE TIMES!! Yes, I sat home and waited on 3 separate days for 4 hour windows, each, NOBODY EVER SHOWED UP. After multiple calls, emails and case “escalations” including finally speaking with “corporate”, they assured me the work would be done and they even offered a $50 gift card to compensate me for me troubles. But after the THIRD no show, I gave up and told them I did not wish to reschedule a fourth time. In return, they refused to release the promised $50 gift card, blaming me for not scheduling a FOURTH appointment. I absolutely DO NOT recommend. It’s surreal how unappologetically they wasted my time and energy and in the end, left me with absolutely nothing. Worst customer service ever!!

    I.purchase Ring Security from Best Buy, with Geek To install. 2 men, 1:45 hr later system Ring Motem Not working this was 4/19. new motom arrive 4/24 Now 4/28 and the children at Geek have not returned,.made appointment and no one shows

    I purchased a custom camera mounting service. Best Buy sent a third party to my home on three seperate occasions. the third party arrived and told me that they were not skilled enough to do the install properly. My cameras have yet to be installed properly. this is by far the worst customer service i have ever received. Theres glue leaking from my cameras and ugly wires hanging. I was told several times that geek squad would come to complete the job and they never showed up. I also purchased the total tech service and none of the services were properly rendered. this has not only been a waste of time. this has also been a waste of money. i have spent two weeks trying to resolve this issue to no avail.

    Not impressed with your cameras at all. They stay off line or not working at all. One will go live, and when you try to go live on another, it says it is not able to load.

    Totally Unable To Do The Agreed Job

    I would give this a 0 star if I could cancelled the request when they couldn’t install it in the first visit. Then after the Geek Squad agent said he would reschedule a visit for a different tech but never did. I had to call for a rescheduled appointment. The date was rescheduled and the tech said he/she woud arrive around 10 a.m. He or she never showed so I called around 3 p.m. thinking something might have happened to the tech. No one was sent even though I got an email that someone was on their way. After being told that the order needed to be changed, which wasn’t done by the first tech as agreed to during the first visit, the phone rep couldn’t make the necessary request to send a tech and forwarded me to another phone rep to change my order. Once transferred, the phone tech was unable to make the change the previous phone rep indicated he could do. The only thing that happened in this transaction was that after the last rep couldn’t reschedule the right tech to do the job, I did get a refund. I won’t use Best Buy tech support for installations ever again. The overall experience was terrible.

    Had extensive problems getting my cameras installed. The installer could not connect my cameras to power (which I already paid an electrician to install in my attic for this purpose). I also purchased the $40.00, 32 ft cords for each camera which I just happened to find out I needed during my own research online. The technician installed the cameras but they ran on battery power only. I then had to pay an electrician 128.00 per camera ( i bought 7) to install them. Not happy.

    If I could give 0 star, I would. I used this service before in 2019, the technician was wonderful and placed 6 cameras. So I decided to add 4 more and use this service again. This time, the experience is simply terrible. At first time, tge 3rd party technician stopped at the building but decided not to call as it was a cold day in January, he would rather find an excuse not to do the work. Tge 2nd appointment, the technician called in advance, then he told me they need to charge me double as my camera has wires. I already have outlet and junction box installed 2 years ago, just need someone to plug tge new ones in as it was 10ft above the ground. This was not an issue before the battery operated outdoor camera. Now they price wired ones at tripled the price, the old pricing is only for battery nest cameras. Eventually, I decided it was easier just to do by hiring a handyman since all cameras are already WiFi connected.

    The first camera system that the Best Buy associate recommended the Geek Squad guy said was wrong for my large home. He recommend a different system.
