    Returning these because they do not hv capability of sending an alarm to my phone or iPad when motion turns on camera. I'm going Arlo cameras.

    I bought 4 cameras for my new house but only two were installed. 2 flood light was not installed because according to the tech they are not electrician and the two flood light are hardwired.

    Service mounted the cameras but was not prepared for the job despite the total tech agent being given a full description of the job. Technician was supposed to follow up on work but never called or never came back. Job is still incomplete.

    This was the worst buying experience ever. I wanted to have everything installed and the geek squad never showed and called to alert me that they wouldn’t show up. Then I called the help center 4 separate times to try and get a new appointment and never got responses even though I was told multiple times that they would ensure that I get a call back. After 5 weeks of no responses and no calls, I went to the store and the general manager said it was out of his control. I will never buy another product from Best Buy as this was the worst customer service I have ever received. Buyer beware when purchasing something from Best Buy that you would like to have them to install the product. Customer service was absolutely TERRIBLE. I got a refund and took my business elsewhere. I guess the only positive is that they honored my request for a refund after waiting for something I purchased 5 weeks ago.

    Had appointment to install outdoor cameras. They canceled the first one at the last minute. The second one they made the appointment to install again. They never showed at the appointed time and when we telephoned Best Buy representative ; was told they took a picture of the home. How come No One knocked on the door or called to let us know what was going on? They were to install the cameras. It was written on the appointment schedule.No one showed up, called or said why they weren’t going to do the work. Neighbors didn’t see anyone. I have copies of the appointments for confirmation. I am ready to know if I can cancel my “Geek Squad “ ? And get my money back Very disappointed and these were work days! Never had a problem with The Geek Squad before. They were wonderful in all the years I used them and recommended them to anyone who needed them. What happened this time?

    The red glow on the cameras attracts moths during the night so my cameras are almost continually recording. Other than that it is great.

    My appointment was for 7am to 12 noon the tech finally arrived at 5:45pm. She only had a short window of time to complete the install before dark. No calls with updated time or apology. This was unacceptable. Very disappointed with Best Buy on this service.

    I paid for 2 years for the total tech service, didn't use it until this month ordered ring door bell, 2 other cameras and smart thermostat. None of these were installed through the technician they sent out. Made few appointments one of the technician wanted us to pay him out of pocket to install the camera. Total tech Service is horrible. I will not waste my money on this service. Every technician that came out kept telling us they cant install we need to make another appointment. Plan disappointing.

    The installer that never showed up

    I would not recommend it. I had a Saturday install time between 7am and 7pm. Saturday morning it was narrowed down to 1pm-4pm. At 3:50 the installer called (which was not a geek squad employee. It was an outside contractor) and said he was still 2 installs away from mine. At 7:15pm the installer called again saying he should be there by 8pm. The installer ask what he was installing and then complained about the product I had bought from Best Buy. At 8pm he was not there so I cancelled the install. I returned the cameras to the store. I will never use geek squad again.

    They installed the camera too high up into the eves so that’s pretty much all we can really see. Been try to get the 3rd party vender to come out to reinstall but they don’t return calls. I’m getting pretty upset so my next move is to just go into the store and pitch a fit there. I hope Best Buy and the Geeks aren’t giving up on good customer service because I can spend my money elsewhere.

    The installation was not good. The installer had small ladder. I was told he would be prepared for any problems. Wouldn’t recommend for $129

    I called at least 15 times trying to get this service scheduled. They never listened to me, and kept setting the appointment for when I told them I was unavailable. I called multiple times asking for a manager, but they never called me back. I asked to hold until one could come to the phone and they said no. This service was so ridiculously pathetic that I cancelled my membership with them and hired someone out of my own pocket to do the installation.

    Cameras did not work properly upon installation

    Upon completion of installation one of two cameras installed did not work until I had a third party(ATT) come in and add a WiFi extender. I called my Best Buy associate for advise but did not get any help. I thought the cameras would be operational upon installation but that was not the case. My signal is still not adequate as the cameras don’t always work.
