I wanted to see packages left at my front door, and to see if my garage door is closed when I am away. I told this to a third party installer sent by Best Buybut he said it could not be done because of the angle. They need to make flexible-neck cameras. These are necessary safety features. The cameras don’t show everything, or the whole sequence of movement. I am afraid they may miss a crucial moment. Otherwise the featues are working. And i appreciate the neighborhood happenings beong reported.

Geek squad is a well trained squad. They know their stuff

the agents mounted my new security cameras with batteries and then came back to mount the solar panels so we don't need to keep changing out the batteries, and they installed the solar panels where they can receive more light.

My Night Owl security system stopped working in June. As a Total Tech member, I called Best Buy for repairs. They charged me $130 for someone to come to my house to assess the equipment. The contractor came, plugged in the DVR and said it could not be powered up. I didn’t hear back from the contractor or Best Buy. Yesterday I went to the Chesterfield store and told a Geek Squad agent what had happened. The agent said there was nothing he could do for me in store as they were not equipped to deal with my equipment in store. He gave me the phone number to Geek Squad online support for home service. I called the online Geek Squad from my cell phone in the store. The online agent also said they could not send an agent to my house as it was a small piece of equipment, and I should bring it into the store. I got the instore agent to speak with the online agent and they both agreed there was nothing they could do for me. So, as a Total Tech member who had already shelled out $130, I was left with a dead security system which I paid over $900 to install in 2022 and I am now $130 out of pocket. I did not feel good at all about Best Buy, Total Tech, Geek Squad or their service. I am completely dissatisfied and disappointed.

Items are getting expensive every single year. Thats why you need the best protection plan for them to protect your investment. Service was included with the BestBuy Total Tech Membership.

The Geek Squad mounted all my ring cameras and connected them to my iPhone and eero . He made sure everything was connected and running properly before he left my home. Great Job!

He was great and he's a very nice person. He came and did what he had to do, we had small conversation, he was knowledgeable. He understood everything that I was saying to him and about my concerns and he even gave me his number just in case I needed him or I for got a question to ask about the system

The tech installed the solar power bank facing the West. Not sure if this has anything to do with the power NOT being charged to 100%.
