I have been using it in my car with my universal car charger. It works great! Keep in mind that this can be temper mental and may not work with every Charger for everyone.

The Gear 3 charger will not reliably work with the Galaxy 3 watch. I had issues with the watch overheating on the Gear 3 charger. So I bought this charger. I like this charger
