The 4k is great. And the movie holds up to the test of time.

Great movie and a must have for movie collectors. Plus great deal.

It was very interesting to watch the Wizard of Oz in 3D. The presentation is visually improved vs. the 2D blu-ray version. In the 2D version, the resolution is so good that the painted backgrounds look like paint on walls, which is distracting in perspective shots such as Dorothy starting down the yellow brick road but stopping before she runs into the yellow road painted on the wall. In the 3D version, the producers put the backgrounds more into the background (slightly less focus or a narrower depth of field). This changes the experience completely for the better. This is now my preferred version of the movie. However, the 2D version blu-ray disc included with the set is lower quality than the 2D version you can purchase separately. I have both and compared them. So, if you want the 2D version I recommend purchasing separately.

Arrived quickly! Picked up on sale. Excellent transfer to 4K.

Was a little skeptical about how well they would be able to make the picture quality but I was blown away. Bright vibrant colors makes you feel like it wasn't made in 1939

The wife loves this movie. We both though the 3d added to the film. The transfer to Blu-ray was nicely done. Very worthwhile addition to anyone’s classic movie collection.

Classic tale of four traveling misfits that find strength together.

The Wizard of Oz has NEVER looked this good. The restoration work on this 80 year old film is amazing. We need more classic titles like this in 4K. Thoroughly impressed!

Having watched other versions of Wizard of Oz the video quality of the 4K issue is worth the investment. A true movie classic that remains timeless with its message.

Really great transition to 4k, my mom who's been watching this film since she was a kid, noticed so many more little details this time around. Highly recommended.

I have always loved the Wizard of Oz. The colors and scenery make the movie. I recommend it to kids maybe 5 and up. The witch may be too scary for little ones.

One of my favorite 4k hobbies is mushroom cultivation.
