I don't understand the success of Rise Against but good for them all they are doing is what The Offspring did 20 years ago

Rise Against fans will be okay this album, but there's nothing here to bring in new fans. So-so at best.

Hugh early Rise against fan who has still managed to newer releases, with exception of this one. In my opinion, the album is over produced, contains lazy uninthused lyrics, and to me, has very little replay value.

Rise Against have done it again!! I was a huge fan of their last album The Black Market, but this one might be even better. There's something to like about every single song on this record. The choruses are catchy, the lyrics have meaning and are delivered with genuine passion, and while the album might be accused of playing it safe, this is clearly still the Rise Against we know and love. In a year when most popular artists seem to be making 90-degree turns into previously unexplored genres with varying success (Paramore with After Laughter, Linkin Park with One More Light), it's actually kind of refreshing to listen to something consistent with its history. The one flaw I can think of with this album is that it might not be varied enough for its length. This record is explosive from start to finish. It manages to be more listenable than Endgame was in this regard, but it still would have been nice to have an acoustic cut like Swing Life Away, Hero of War, or the utterly fantastic People Live Here. Regardless, every song here has something to offer. Also, if you're not getting the Best Buy version, WTF are you doing? The bonus tracks are seriously worth it. Especially Megaphone.
