||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've never really been a fan of DC characters, but I have enjoyed the TV versions thanks to The CW. Wonder Woman has always been the exception since Lynda Carter's turn as the TV character back in the '70s. Given my nostalgia for her portrayal and how the DCU movies have been such a disappointment, I was worried about whether or not this movie would be worthwhile. Have no fear, this one soars! Patty Jenkins, Gal Gadot, and the rest of the cast & crew have succeeded in giving us a Wonder Woman origin movie that exceeded my expectations to the point of tears of joy! While not perfect, the cast, story, sets & costumes create a wonder-filled world that is easy to get sucked into for a few hours of fun and adventure. Most impressive is Gal Gadot's perfect character balance of equal parts naiveté/wonder and self-confidence/strength. This blu-ray will be one of the few that I will watch over and over again.
