Gal Gadot's portrayal of one of my favorite super heroines was spot on and even better than I imagined. This is the best Wonder Woman I've seen since Linda Carter's portrayal back when I was a kid. I found myself feeling the same level of excitement I used to feel when I used to sit in front of the TV while the theme song came on knowing I would get to see Wonder Woman kick butt and take names. This movie definitely will not disappoint whether you are a new fan or old one like me.

Though technically introduced in Batman vs. Superman, Wonder Woman is a standalone prequel. The action takes place primarily during World War 1 and the setting really aids this film. Gal Gadot is charming and her chemistry with co-star Chris Pine is fun to watch. Wonder Woman strikes a good balance between humor and the grim events taking place around the heroes. The final villain and their effects were a big let down but overall, it doesn't detract from an extremely fun movie.

The movie is very good and 4k steelbook is a collection keeper.

I don’t usually enjoy superhero movies, but I enjoyed this.

Born Diana, princess of the Amazons, she had trained from childhood to become an unconquerable warrior. But she did not know of her true history, or her purpose for being until a mortal man enters her peoples invisible island. She departs the island she grew up on to help humans and end the evil that she believes cased the humans world war. It's all well acted, and a good storyline that is well supported by the films cast. It introduces the iconic hero to a new generation. Well done!
