Zombie movie with a moral. This movie shows how to identify the cause of a disaster. It also shows the importance of family. It is an action movie with the threat of a international disaster. The zombie scenes are very effective.

Great take on the zombie genre. Not really a horror movie but more of a summer blockbuster action flick. Still highly enjoyable and has some real suspenful moments especially at the medical facility. Brad Pitt is good. This movie was rumored to have some production problems but I don't think that it affects the viewing experience.

I got this from a Black Friday Doorbuster sale for the holidays...wow, the unrated version too...it is more violent yet I like the fact that this movie has no nudity and not much swearing...I feel it really is a great piece of science fiction and was well done. I saw it in the theatre and really enjoyed the Best Buy unrated version!

I thought this was an alien invasion movie but it turns out to be a zombie movie. The zombies in this movie move very fast and have great strength. This is hard to believe that some kind of virus can turn people into superhuman strong than themselves. Other than that the movie is great and entertaining!

One of the better zombie movies that Hollywood decided to bring to the big screen. Pitt does an awesome job and CGI and make up was obviously pretty good too. Watching this in 2020 though makes it pretty creepy though lol

I really enjoyed this movie. It has a good story and the special effects of the zombies are pretty cool. If you have not seen it you should watch it. It is a must for people that like zombie movies.

Interesting take on the zombie theme. Not the best one out there, but I like that the zombies are actually dangerous in this one. Not a huge Brad Pitt fan, but he's OK in this. Love that this was written by Mel Brooks' son.

This is an impressive movie, especially considering it's a PG-13 zombie movie. Though me not a zombie fan, this movie proved you don't have to be. Throughout the movie, it felt like what could really happen if a zombie apocalypse happens. Acting was great. The visuals were realistic. loved it on Bluray. Defintely worth a buy!

These are the only zombies I would ever fear! TWD zombies move at a snail's pace while these seem to move at 100 MPH! So looking forward to the second one. Brad Pitt fits his role perfectly. Just hope these zombies never come to life!!

I personally liked the movie despite it mixed reviews amongst critics... Very different than the book its based off of but never having read the book I can't really say... Am glad though bestbuy re-released the movie in a steelbook packaging different from the original.....

I didn't set out to buy this movie, but when I saw that it was only a few bucks I picked it up instantly. While the movie itself is not the best and does not wholly represent the book that it is based on. It is still a relatively good zombie movie and I think most people would find it enjoyable.

This movie isn't perfect but it's also not garbage.

Overall it was well done story wise despite changing the nature of the zombies from slow in the book to extremely fast in the film. But some of the special effects were so corny and overdone it ends up taking away from the film. All that being said it’s still a great zombie movie

I am a Walking Dead fan and thought this would be a scam trying to cash in on WD fame. Although there are large similarities I never felt like is was a WD rip-off. The speed of the zombies and general feel of the movie gave it it's own dimension. Brad Pitt did a great job acting and the special effects were excellent.

A true classic about a virus that spreads like wild fire throughout the world. The solution to beat it is genius...but I'm not saying it. Get the movie and see how good Brad Pitt acts this one out.

Overall, the movie was a very interesting and good movie. Plenty of action scenes and the graphics were pretty good. Some notable CGI here and there but overall, good movie. Only complaint is the actual disc was loose in the steel book case when I received it but luckily was not scratched/cracked.

I enjoyed this movie a lot and was happy to get a high-quality copy for cheap. I wish the theatrical cut was on Blu-Ray, though, and not just on DVD, especially when the "extended, more intense" cut doesn't add a whole lot to the movie save some more gore. Overall, very satisfied.

A movie based on a best selling book that doesn't follow the book is the norm, however I enjoyed the movie far more than I did the book. If you enjoy the horror genre filled with flesh eating zombies then this movie will not disappoint. Solid acting and excellent action scenes makes this movie one of my favorites.

I must say that it is one of the few Brad Pitt movies I like. The story line was somewhat believable to today's possibilities. I am glad I bought it at the lower price and waited till it came out on video though. The extras were ok, but nothing to write home about. All in all, it was a good movie that I will watch again in the future.

A good but not great Zombie movie, this one is worth watching for the fact that you've got an A-lister headlining the whole thing. The effects are great, the locations are excellent, and an appropriate level of dread and hoplessness is created, but without spoiling anything, Brad Pitt is sometimes just a little too lucky in this film.
