I was a bit skeptical about this movie but after hearing good reviews from friends I decided to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised. Loved this zombie movie. The ending was a bit weird, but it was a good movie nonetheless. Highly recommend it.

A little stupid but mildly entertaining. Good cast.

Never read the book, I'm sure it's great, but it can only be seen as an inspiration not adaptation. If that upset you, I'm sorry. Found the movie to be very enjoyable all thanks to Brad Pitt. Mirielle Enos is underutilized, but perhaps if she returns for the unnecessary sequel her character will be fleshed out more...so to speak.

This was a refreshing twist to the zombie genre, the fact that there was a story behind how it happened and the fact that Brad Pitt went in search of the story was great. The ending was a little abrupt, yes I know if they dragged it out then the movie would have been waaay too long and then people would have complained about that.

It's a fun zombie movie, with Brad Pitt. It's well acted, and makes a decent storyline that's almost credible if you're willing to temporarily suspend disbelief. :)

World War Z is a really good movie and I can’t wait for the sequel, but there really is no need to buy it in 3D because there isn’t much special effects that translates into great 3D action. I only gave this movie 4 stars for the 3D effects, but the movie itself, I give it 5 stars.

There’s something about this movie that is different than many other apocalypse type movies. Sure it has zombies, but there’s also a serious and thought provoking plot that makes you want to watch it again and again knowing you will always catch some new detail.

Solid movie. The bluray footage looks really good, and the sound has a good kick to it through the home theater system. The steelbook was in great shape without any dings or dents.

Awesome End of the World scenario. Brad Pitts character has to take over the the investigation in to the Why, When, Where and how to win against the Zombie Horde. Left with a few clues on what to look for, he observes situations that lead to how to beat the endless stream of People Eaters!

Yay my favorite zombie movie!! Was an Awesome find one those Best Buy $5 dvd bins!! My favorite actors Brad Pitt and Marie Mireille Enos in World War Z. Great action zombie movie from beginning to end.

If you're an action movie fan need I say more than the summary? I didn't read the book and understand the story is fairly different but the movie has plenty of action and the story is interesting. The ending is different and inventive as well. Definitely worth seeing if you are into action/zombie flicks.

This movie was not what I expected. Not exactly a prototypical Brad Pitt flick! It was part action film part horror film. What it lacked in believability (a world war against zombies is going to by nature lack believability) it made up for in holding your attention. Overall very solid movie.

In the 3d version, there is a yellow tint over everything. Makes everyone's face look yellow. Thought it was a bad disc and took it back for another one and got the same thing. Otherwise the movie is great

Good movie, plot is similar to other "end of the world" type movies. Plot takes a little while to get going but after that happens it's easy to immerse yourself in what's happening. Dim the lights and grab some snacks, you will enjoy this. I gave this a good rating because it isn't perfect but it's good for its genre.

Picked this up on Black Friday and it was a great value for a good movie. Zombie movies may have been recycled a lot over the last 10 years or so, but this is an interesting and well acted take on the genre. Well worth the watch for any fans of the genre or the book the movie is based on.

Wow, so this movie is a bit depressing or perhaps very depressing these days. It is fast paced and an interesting story but gets a bit repetitive. Pitt is doing some weird acting choices in this one but it is still worth a watch.

I purchased this blu-Ray movie on Black Friday at bestbuy.com and it was a great deal. I thought the movie was good, but I honestly expected more. I love Brad Pitt as an actor, but it just didn't get the 5 star rating from me. The blu-ray quality is awesome and highly recommend if you are going to purchase a movie.

I had heard a lot of average to below average reviews from friends about this movie, but I wanted to see it. I enjoyed it, it's not a top film, but is well above average. I never read the book so I didn't know the story going in. I like the fast zombies, but they are very unsettling. Definitely worth a watch.

This movie was both thrilling and scary, but most of all entertaining. I don't like zombie movies, but this has a great story with restrained violence - compared to most zombie movies which tend to be gory. The features were good, but I would have loved a commentary. Great movie.

Wow what a deal, A great Brad Pitt movie and it a great looking steelBook at a very low price. Pick this one up before it sells out. Blu ray no 4K dics on this one.
