A fun, exciting, intense film, with great special effects, cool settings, and a good cast. Picked this up BBY exclusive on Black Friday for a great price. Was a very enjoyable movie, loved the action and special effects. The picture and sound quality are great and its nice having the regular and unrated cut of the film. Could have used a few more extras but otherwise a great blu-ray and I like the exclusive packaging as well.

Wasn't sure what to expect for a movie about zombies with Brad Pitt but was pleasantly surprised. I normally don't like Brad Pitt movies because they are usually too artsy but this one had some decent action and he rerally didn't have to act andrely only on his looks. There were a few questions of the plot that they never answered but it was a good movie especially for those who like the Walking dead with fast moving zombies.

This is a stunningly good movie if you're into zombie apocalypse films. It is extremely fast moving with extraordinary effects and solid acting. Like him or not, Brad Pitt brings this movie to life with his acting. Just also have to say the zombie wall climb in Tel Aviv is one of the coolest zed scenes ever. Just watch it to understand :D

Brad Pitt enough said. Making movie off his looks not much acting but good action film

If you are thinking this is a zombie movie, find something else. This is more of an action movie than anything. There are good actors in this movie with really small parts because of a lot of problems with filming. That is another issue, but you do get a sense that the people in the movie should have more to them and the story just happens to brush by them. I liked it and would tell others to see it.

We are big Walking Dead fans so we jumped on the zombie band-wagon when this came out. Saw it in the theater and enjoyed it, so when it was on special for $7.99 I scooped it up for movie night at home. If you are a WD fan, the zombie special effects are quite a bit different than that, but just as good if not better...story line is entertaining and suspenseful. Worth watching.

Even though I am not a Brad Pitt fan, this was actually one of the best zombie movies I have seen. Having watched the previews I was a little hesitant about buying the movie - initially I did not like the speed of these zombies. However having watched the film, it turns out the zombie characters are some of the best I have seen; and I was a bit of a Brad fan (for this film).

I am a huge fan of the zombie genre and this movie is a perfect fit. An intelligent story that is carried by its cast members. I have not read the book and I have heard it doesn't follow the book. However, this movie is still excellent.

Watched this movie on my laptop as a prescreen for my wife (she doesn't like these movies if too gory). This was a good movie. The plot was believable and the acting very good. Showed it to my wife and she thought it was well done, even though though this genre is not what she really likes. If you like Zombie movies or movies with lots of action, you will like this movie.

Awesome movie! Didn't quite know what to expect from a Brad Pitt zombie flick, considering its WAY out of his usual element... But the film was excellent with action from beginning to end. As a person that's seen every zombie movie on the market (from the 1970s to present), this definitely has to be one of the best with well-filmed action and a great plot. Nice job!

By no means is this a movie you come away saying WOW! The basis is the typical infection gone epidemic, world is going to die. But I have to give it props for the how it was presented and the change to the typical zombie "personality". The infected are crazed, fast moving weapons of destruction. Plus, getting infected/turning takes a scarily brief amount of time. Good, entertaining flick.

I love this Movie, lots of non-stop action in locations all over the world. I don’t usually buy movies after watching them but this is one I can see over and over again. Very good characters. I like they way they have left the movie open for a sequel.

I almost missed on this movie; not being a fan of Brad Pitt I didn't care to see it and after reading some not very favorable reviews I lost interest, then I saw it on cable and to my surprise it was an enjoyable movie; I bought the 3D version and it's even much better, I enjoyed it even more than Will Smith's I am Legend.

World War Z is a truly impressive movie, especially considering it's a PG-13 zombie movie. While I do like the gore in a zombie film, this movie proved you don't need it. The zombies were frightening, the realistic science was there, warfare is taken into account, and overall it just felt like what would really happen if the zombie apocalypse happened.

From the first few opening scenes, this film is non-stop action and suspense. It is easily one of the best zombie movies made. George Romero would be proud on this films twist. If you do not intend on owning it at least watch it.

I am usually not a big fan of zombie movies. They are typically boring with slow moving undead folks trying to eat others but this was a different twist on it with an epidemic causing the Zombie plague. I thought Pitt was awesome as the investigator and it had me wondering what was going to happen next. I would say I would want a sequel but it probably wouldn't be as good.

With all the zombie movies out there, this one puts a new spin on an old tale. The entire cast, especially Brad Pitt, do an excellent job of weaving a believable and spell binding tale of a zombie apocalypse and how the world reacts to the terror that has taken over everyday life. This is one of the best movies that I've seen in a long time!

This is a really great movie. I can't wait to watch it again.

I did not expect it to be on the level of other zombie movies like Dawn of the Dead, but it is. The effects are great and the plot is way better than expected. And Brad Pitt was the biggest surprise as he handled the role perfectly. Not to mention the blu ray has an amazing picture and truly clear sound. Worth every penny and then some.

It is timely to see this movie now; with everything that’s going on. It helps you to see that things could be much worse than they are; currently. The main character was very brave and loved his family and others, he was a real hero.
