I bought this to help break down my boxes for recycling . It does an average job. You have to make sure there is no tape for it to try to cut. I bought this in the deal of the day. I would not pay full price for it.

The arthritis in my hand makes it difficult to tear apart boxes and packaging and the electric scissors make it so much easier.

It is not as maneuverable as I would like. It has a safety button that must be pressed to pull its trigger. While a good idea, its not as ergonomic as it could be and requires two hands to start it.
