Doesn't work on fabric like it states. Having to hold the handle down to keep it running while cutting is a pain. Its really more work than its worth, You almost have to break down boxes into pieces then cut. I would find a different one.

Simply not a good product unless you specifically need it for something you know it would work with

From some of the many packages that my family goes through, to cutting down vacuum seal bags for my food vacuum sealer. I also partake in several home DIY projects. I think that the ZipSnip scissors are the perfect fit for my day to day. Right out of the package I checked for a charge, and they powered right up. I did not have to charge it at first. In order to operate you must push in a safety lever and then pull the trigger. There is a odd shaped spinning wheel (not perfectly round) that actually cuts the object. I have had electric scissors before and they usually had the two blades of traditional scissors, so this was interesting to me. I immediately bagan to cut a cardboard box that I planned to recycle and it did so flawlessly. I also like the design of the scissors as they cut all the way across the object and don't get hung up. compared to regular scissors. By this I mean that the handle and your hand get in the way of longer cuts. The ZipSnip lets you push along with no issues. I then decided to charge the scissors with the included charger. It is an included charger that is somewhat proprietary, I would have preferred a type C charger but not a big deal. After charging completely I began to test this on anything I could. I tried different plastics and cardboards. It worked great. I did not attempt anything metal as I did not want to ruin the scissors and I don't think metal is an intended material to cut. Overall, I feel that the ZipSnip scissors are a necessity in any household. They are small and easy to use. They take a lot of effort out of any large cuts that you would use a traditional pair of scissors.

It is awkward to use, especially with the left hand and it will not cut well at all other than a single sheet of paper. Overall I would not recommend this item.

Handy Tool

Cardboard, tape, wrapping paper, and fabrics have all met their match. Very easy to work with crafts if you're into those things. Can easily trace along a line to cut out felt for a costume or school project. Safety guide helps assist to prevent errant slicing of things not meant to be sliced. I wrapped a present I don't intend to give for another month just to test out how they do with simple paper and I was very impressed. Package comes with a charger and the unit itself, so no muss no fuss. Does take a bit to charge, but once I've charged to full I've used for quite awhile with no need to charge again. I have many other Worx tools and they have all been great for me with no quality issues so I do not foresee any here. It requires the pressing of 2 buttons simultaneously to actually cut, so again, pretty safe from accidental slicing of appendages or other things that shouldn't be sliced. Definitely recommend if you cut a lot of things that are tougher or have struggles with scissors due to arthritis or carpal tunnel or any other sort of wrist/hand injury.
