It is very thin and brittle and breaks off in large chunks and I am constantly needing to manually feed more length every 30 seconds or so.

Great quality trimmer line, worth the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned a few Worx trimmers that I have been using to trim and edge my lawn for several years. Worx products in general work great, but I have been especially happy with my trimmers, since they take a beating and keep on going. Obviously I have had to buy many new spools of trimmer line over the years. I have tried several non-OEM versions as well, to see if I could save some money. Unfortunately, in most cases the initial cost savings were more than offset by the poor quality line used in the spools. So now I only buy genuine OEM trimmer line sold by Worx. Their line is high-quality and their spools last much longer. There is a line in the product description for this 6-pack that is misleading, however. It says “Never pay for the cost of spools over the lifetime of your qualifying Worx trimmer”. I think this product description was just copied from the Worx site. With their newer trimmers, they say they will send you new trimmer line spools for free whenever you need them. However, just the shipping cost for a 6-pack from Worx is $10.73 including tax to my address. So they really aren’t “free”, and the shipping cost from Worx is more than buying this 6-pack from Best Buy at the current price. So I would recommend shopping around when you’re ready to order new spools. Just make sure you are ordering the real WA0010 OEM trimmer line spools.
