Unless you have a second one for someone else to control, it's pretty boring. But the boxing and fighting one another are fun.

Bought this for my 10-year-old grandson -- he LOVES it!

This was a nice product that did some fun things. But my sons grew bored with it rather quickly.

My kids liked it the first day. Would sit in a corner thereafter. Not the most exciting toy for a kid. Kids age 4, 6, and 9 played with it for a very short time. I wanted to return it, but could not find the time. Great concept, but for some reason the kids did not play with it long, even using the app games and songs!

it does lots of things but you need the app to fully control the robot.

I looked at the reviews and thought this would be a fun gadget. It really was not. After I got it, the more I looked at it and what it could do, the more it did not interest me. It seems all it does is go, stop, dance, all at a hand command. Not impressed. Returned.

I would easily get another one if the need arise again

Fun toy but eats up batteries quickly. A little expensive too.

The functions, while executed flawlessly, were just ordinary. The roam function got annoying since it seemed to react to nothing.

This thing didn't last 3 months with very light use.

I ordered 2 MIPS - a black and a white. I ordered 2 so they could battle and gave to my sons for Christmas. The white Mip worked as expected but the black mip will not even turn on. Going to exchange in hopes the new one will work.

Good functionality and fairly simple directions provided for the different activities (eg, tracking, dancing). The batteries do wear out very quickly (as others have commented); rechargeable batteries are a "must" to go with it. For older children, having access to the MiP app is what makes this worthwhile. We believed the WowWee compatibility list and purchased Kindle Fire 2015 for each of our grandsons (8 and 11 years old). The Bluetooth functionality on this particular Kindle edition does not work consistently. For us, it didn't work at all. Buying brand new Kindle Fire 2015 in order to have the MiP app was an absolute waste of money for us. We have reported this to WowWee, asking them to correct their compatibility list. They have acknowledged that the Bluetooth doesn't work correctly for Kindle Fire 2015, even tho it is the OS 5. They say they've had the same problems with it, but haven't adjusted the compatibility list as of this date. So a great robot to be used without the app for a younger child (maybe 6-8 years old). But for an older child, the app is what makes this worth the money. Gotta have iPhone or iPad to use the app; Kindle Fire 2015 is a bust.

I would return it if I could find my paperwork but unfortunately it can't be found.

Very boring features, get bored quick playing with it

My son wanted a robot for Christmas so we saw this guy and had to have it. Its smaller than I would have liked but it has many features to keep my son busy. He enjoys the dancing feature. The robot can also roam the room freely. It is hard to get the robot to follow hand gestures.
