I already owned the 3D version. Decided to purchase this to add to my Steel Book collection. Not disappointed1

If you're reading this review you are wondering one of two things: "Is this movie good?" and "Is this Blu-ray Collectors Edition good?" If you haven't seen Wreck-it Ralph, then you should make the effort. It is an engaging story with memorable characters. Even more so if you're a older gamer. The movie is packed with game cameos and little easter eggs. If you already love this movie, then you're here to know whether this collectors edition is worth it. The short answer is Yes. The movie extras a quite nice and all done in HD (at least I think so, haven't see it all yet) and it covers all the bases. You already like the movie, so I don't think you'll be disappointed by the extras.

Films under the Disney Studio Home Video umbrella (including PIXAR) have had a number of audio issues, especially their Dolby Atmos tracks - subdued dynamic range, somewhat anemic bass, less dramatic surround mixing, and Atmos tracks lacking in 3D objects and being encoded as mostly fixed 7.1.4 to 7.1.6 audio compared to many other studios using Dolby Atmos. When 3D objects are used, a consumer Dolby Atmos track can scale to 24.1.10 surround. They seem to be catering to the built-in TV speaker or soundbar listener, two sound sources that cannot handle dynamic, powerful theatrical grade audio like a quality home theater audio system can. The upscaled-from-2k-master 4k image does benefit nicely from HDR grading and a greater, more stable range of colors thanks to a higher bit depth and wider color gamut. If you can live with somewhat subdued audio, it's an okay upgrade. It does utilize whatever amount of overhead speakers encoded in the track to a better immersive effect than the prior Blu-ray soundtrack, which, of course, was not Dolby Atmos.

Another good film from Pixar. The story may not appeal to nongamers but a good film for those that are.

I enjoyed this movie along with the kids. Not much for this type of movie but with the kids, it was fun.

Wreck it Ralph has so much gaming nostalgia written into it from classic characters like Pac-Man, Sonic, Mario (by name) and so many others. The story is a great tale of friendship that does a lot of things right. The movie looks great on a UHD display with HDR and plays natively at 2K being upscaled to 4K. Also included is a digital Movies Anywhere code for streaming up to Dolby Vision with the necessary hardware and internet connection. I highly recommend this premium box set.

A fun movie with great casting. A few moments run a bit too long but overall it’s entertaining.

I haven't had the chance to watch it all the way through but the kids and my wife enjoy it.

This I a fun movie for the whole family. Animation for kids and nostalgia for the parents.

This was a fun and original movie filled with video game nostalgia from the 80’s

This is one of my favorite movies of all time (may be top 10). It's entertaining, smart and fun. The movie has a good story with many surprises and humor. It sprinkled in some bonus retro game characters for us older crowd but introduced all new main characters so kids of all ages can enjoy the movie all the same. I won't be buying the sequel but I have no regrets buying this unique and beautiful 4k SteelBook. Highly recommended.

Steelbook is nice, but anytime movie is paused there is a trivia track playing
