Thanks to Wolverine: Origins, The Last Stand will always be the second worst X-film. Brett Rattner has no visual style and the film suffers from start to finish. A lousy script but has moments that shine. At least the cast is invested even if the studio, director, and script writers aren't.

After seeing Days of Future Past first, I can see why they undid so many things from The Last Stand. Bits and pieces of the story were ok, but the rest of it, I thought was terrible. As a superhero junkie, this was one of the few supers movies I'd missed. It's also one of the few that I actually regret seeing.

Like the summary says. But it has good acting especially from Kelsey Grammar and Shawn Ashmore. And as always, excellent acting from Sir Ian McKellen. This movie needlessly kills off major characters, leading to the need to reboot the series with a new timeline. Still a nice steelbook.

A lazy entry in an otherwise great series. You can telling was rushed and not thought through, unlike Marvel, who takes their time building connections and setting up for future films. If you're a completist, like I am, you'll still buy it. Otherwise, don't bother.

I'm a long-time X-Men fan and have really been enjoying the movies, except for this one. Do yourself a favor and after watching X-Men and X2, skip over this one and to straight to First Class and Days of Future Past.

The movie is not as bad as people say the main weakness of the film is definitely the ending. Still not a bad x men film.

The back of the package lists special features on a disc 2, however there is no disc 2 included.

    Should have stopped at 2

X2: X-Men United was a fine example of how to stay true to a franchise while extrapolating enough from it to make a good movie. The themes dealt with in the second installment were resonant, relevant and well played out. Sadly, X-Men 3 denegrates into a sub-par action movie. Instead of really exploring the symbolism that the X-Men mythos embodies, the filmmakers instead choose to see how many mutants they can cram into one movie. None are really fleshed out and you have to wonder if this is just an attempt to market as many action figures as possible. Coupled with the pointless deaths of major characters and plot holes so big the Golden Gate Bridge could be floated through them and you get a movie that just throws away everything great its prequel was. Do yourself a favor and stop at X2. Pretend this one never happened.

The picture on this Blu-ray disc is almost unwatchable, very grainy, with some blur and not sharp at all. The dvd version has a better picture. I had high expectations for this movie on blu-ray but was very disappointed. I called fox and they are aware of this problem but have no intrest in fixing it. Im playing it on a Samsung 61" LED DLP 1080p tv, Samsung bd-p1400 Blu-Ray Player connected with Monster cable HDMI. Skip this movie!

Retrospectively thinking by seeing Apocalypse (spoiler alert,) Bryan Singer really was really mad at the production of X3. Why Brett Ratner? WHY!?!?!?

They found a cure for mutants and now Professor X and Magneto divide to fight with or against the human race.Nice going Brett another low point for comic-book movies.
