I love every single moment of the move especially storm and Jean Grey Phoenix....my favorite parts of the movie is storms teen moment and Jean Grey phoenix part and I also love the action through out the movie and love the costumes and picture quality with the most important of all the acting done by actresses and actors. I have a new favorite superhero movie now and it is x-men apocalypse movie. Words cannot explain. I only hope they do more x-men movies with the same main actresses and actors especially the cast of storm and Jean Grey from x-men apocalypse. I will keep watching if so wich I really hope so. $$$$$♡♡♡♡♡♡☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆(:

This was a blind buy for me but I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, made me regret not seeing it in theaters. Surely not the best of the X-men series but it was a really entertaining one to watch. The Steelbook case is a great collector's item, I own Days of Future Past Steelbook as well and this made a great edition to sit nest to that and my other Steelbook cases. As for the movie itself, I recommend it, especially for any fan of the X-Men movies, this was on par for what you'd expect from the series so far, Bryan and the gang deliver again.

You better grab all the 3D stuff now as it might all fade away again one more time ? How they make you feel like you are right there in the movie is just incredible . All my friends are using my back up tv sets as i haven't the room for them all . They are all taking turns watching these 3D movies i collect , this disk was no different in its ability's to the others i bought from Best Buy , Just great science Fiction Period ! You think you could reach out and touch things !

As an X-Men fan I was going to see this movie no matter what. The way they wove characters' backstories in was clever and the Quicksilver scene was a hoot. However, an action movie lives and dies by the villain, and unfortunately Apocalypse wasn't as convincing as he could have been. Neither was the peril. The movie was paced well and though it covered a lot of territory it never dragged. So it was an entertaining superhero movie but not one I'll watch again. Well, maybe once. The extra features are worth seeing, especially the gag reel.

As a huge X-Men fan I couldn't help but enjoy this movie. I was grinning ear to ear while watching it in the theater. The new additions to the cast were fantastic! Including the beautiful Sofie Turner as Jean Grey and a younger Cyclops and Nightcrawler. My little complaint is, "When are we gonna get some more Jubilee?!?" Great blu-ray to add to your collection and I'm glad I bought it in 3D as it looks and sounds great on my 50 in" Samsung tv. Not to spoil anything but Wolverines cameo is straight out of the comics Weapon X and was marvelous on the big screen. Loved this movie and would highly recommend to my friends.

    The X-Men Are Unstoppable!!

X Men Apocalypse starts off with the very first Mutant Apocalypse being sealed in a tomb to later return to gain control of the Earth by using the weaker mutants to do his bidding. Michael Fassbender returns as Magneto and James Mc Avoy as Professor X. The X-Men movies have excellent special effects, photography, editing, and musical score. Sometimes the timelines can be confusing going from the future, to the past, to the present and twisted inside out. If your a fan of the series, the comics, and characters check this one out.

Although X-Men pretty much started the whole superhero movie franchise, it has failed in comparison to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Each new movie seems to be more flat than the previous one. Unlike the MCU that just seems to get better and better and are building towards an ultimate goal. X-Men doesn't have that because of the license agreements for Fox. All in all this was a good movie but it's not like the first time you saw X-Men one. It may be time for a new director to take over and see what they can do with the franchise.

I've been a huge X-men fan for almost 20 years now and I've seen all of the movies. X-Men Apocalypse rests right in the middle of my list if I were to rank all of the movies from best to worst. It's not great like Days of Future Past or X2: X-men United. But it's also now awful like X-Men Origins Wolverine or The Last Stand. It's okay, just alright, nothing too special. The blu ray itself looks fantastic even if some of the CGI isn't that well done. The movie itself is an enjoyable watch, just don't expect to be blown away.

Nothing too special here. This is the third film in the First Class series. The effects are great. If you like the others you'll probably like this one.

In any other franchise, X-Men: Apocalypse might have been better appreciated for juggling so many storylines and characters, but the irony is that Singer set such an incredibly high bar for himself with Days of Future Past that this film was perhaps fated to appear less fulfilling. Still, even with its haphazard careening from character to character and plot point to plot point, there's a lot of exciting action going on, even if there's a similar lack of emotional tether to much of anything. Technical merits are first rate and the supplements, while not overwhelmingly bounteous, are enjoyable as well.

The movie is entertaining to be sure, and the "good guys" stories are compelling and new, however, the main villain does feel a bit over-the-top and unbelievable. This movie relies too little on good character development, and too much on CGI city-destruction, which all modern blockbusters tend lean towards nowadays (looking at you, Marvel and DC). It's worth watching, and if you collect the X-Men movies, the steelbook cover is very lovely. If you don't collect them, however, just rent the movie and call it good.

For this most part, this film was panned negatively by film critics but enjoyed by most of the people I know who saw it. It brings back the X-Men crew from First Class & Days Future Past and adds a host of new characters. Obviously the main villain is apocalypse. We do get to learn both his origin and his motives for what he does in the film. Unlike some of the poor Fanastic Four movies Fox put out, this film does have great direction, story, and character motives. 4/5 from me, still great fun with the X-men.

This is not my favorite of the series, but a very enjoyable film. Awesome Weapon X segment with a Hugh Jackman cameo. I would prefer more Wolverine in the film he is my favorite. My only complaint would be the newer cast didn't really stand out like the older members. I would have preferred James Marsden to come back and Famke Jansen, although the Game of Thrones actress wasn't bad. Great EFX as usual. Still enjoying these films overall just minor gripes mostly with the third wave of replacement actors.

X-men: Apocalypse is a good movie not Great. Great action but lacks the comic book feel. If you like the X-men movies and comics it's a must buy. If you like the comic books the movie lacks direction. Come on now would you really tackle Apocalypse without Gambit and Rouge. Great Storm and Psylocke intro you really do not need a big name to play these roles effectively. Great job Alexandra and Olivia. Fox does a poor job with the x-men movie please get the marvel universe back under one umbrella DISNEY!

Chronologically speaking, Jean releases the Phoenix Force 10 years before she goes Dark Phoenix? I know that the previous movie tweaked the timeline some, returning the future back to how Wolverine remembered it in X3... But then you have the comic books and their timelines, plus the original trilogy. If I were Lewis Black, I would be spewing expletives and foaming at the mouth. Ignoring the obvious time paradox that may be here... It is a good action romp worth the viewing. Just ignore the lore.

X-Men: Apocalypse picks up where Days of Future Past left off in rewriting the history of the X-Men. In 1983, En Sabah Nur, the first and most powerful mutant in history, revives and prepares to conquer a world that has otherwise forgotten him, and his sights are set on possessing the mind-altering powers of Professor Charles Xavier. Lots of fan favorites are featured here, along with a cameo from Hugh Jackman that sets up his next outing as Logan/Wolverine. The 3D disc looks and sounds marvelous, and should not be missed by those who have the tech for it. Recommended.

I'm a sucker for comic book movies, but I thought this one was going to be pretty bad considering some of the effects I saw in the previews (specifically Quicksilver running around). Turns out that was a non-issue and was easily overlooked due to the content of the scenes (especially that one with Quicksilver). The story was ok, and I enjoyed the ending. Take my review with a grain of salt, I'm not overly critical of movies -- I either enjoy them or I sleep through them. I was not disappointed.

The Mutants in this sequel to X-Men: Days of Future Past take on the world's first mutant, who after thousands of years has awakened to find a world led by humans, which he doesn't like. This, of course, means that he intends to cleanse the earth of all of mankind and start his own new mutant world order with him, of course, as their leader. But do not despair, Professor X has recruited his own group of young X-Men to save the day and the world to boot against this seemingly unstoppable enemy.

I liked this X-Men flick much more than any of the first 3 X-Men movies. My only complaint is that Apocolypse should have been a much bigger ( in stature ) character. Oscar Isaac does fine work, but he isn't a 7 footer! Quicksilver steals every scene he's in - just as he did in DOFP. Sophie Turner is really good as a young Jean Grey, and Kodi Smit-McPhee is a good Night Crawler. Fassbender and McAvoy are 2 really good actors and I feel that they help make the others up their game.

X-men: Apocalypse continues to round out the mutant story and develop depth in the characters. While Apocalypse himself is a bit of a bore, his righteous indignation and incredible power make for an excellent antagonist. Opposing forces in both powers and view of humanity goes to the core of the mutant saga, making this another fine addition of the bigger story and creating addition interest in where our favorite mutants go from here and how the world around them reacts to their existence.
