Great Steelbook....my only issue, and this has always been my biggest grief with Best Buy's exclusives: Why would you not offer a Steelbook Edition for your 3D versions of these movies??? It goes without saying that these version, despite the higher markup, tend to sell out at a higher rate than the standard versions of the films (Captain America: Civil War VS Star Wars: The Force Awakens)

Not as good as previous X-Men movies. I understand the needs for scripts to be workable but the story presented mangles the comic books in a major way. Again, great special effects but faulty story and some glaring loopholes (ahem... Pietro and Magneto relationship, NightCrawler and Mystique, Psylocke?). I am assuming things will be patched up in upcoming movies. Enjoyable, but not great.

Decent installment, but not by any means the best yet for this franchise. Lots of action and nearly every major acting name is getting on the X-men bandwagon, but plot and story are suffering in the melee. The uninitiated will find this one hard to follow - not a good place to jump into the series. Still for casual fans, it's satisfying, but true believers will find it sorely lacking.

Actually, as the Bluray back cover says: "Massively Entertaining", it is. Great movie. Spectacular CGI effects. Great sound. Watched this movie (Bluray 1080p version) via an Xbox Slim connected to a 4K TV. Picture quality was very, very good. Need to watch this movie over again just to absorb the special effects. 144 minutes long, rated PG-13. Included with the Bluray are Special Features, deleted scenes, and Olivia Munn is in the movie too......

I've always been a fan of the X-Men movies and X-Men: Apocalypse is no exception. Not a wonderful, ground breaking movie. But a fun comic movie that DOES take itself a hair too serious but still enjoyed it enough. Felt like the mid movie cameo was a bit forced but I did enjoy it. Only pick it up if your a fan of the previous movies, if you never saw them, then this movie isn't for you.

Big fan of the series, had not seen this before I bought it. Got it during a Black Friday deal, so the cost was a no-brainer. Took a little longer to ship than I had hoped, but was in no real rush to get it. The movie was fun and entertaining, but definitely not my favorite of the series. Looked great on my home theater and the digital copy allows me to watch it whenever and wherever.

I bought this movie on sale. I've watched both in regular and 3D view. I think the movie comes to life when watched in 3D. It gives the viewer a different perspective despite the critic reviews. Story plot holes aside, I really enjoy the movie for the entertainment value. It is really unfortunate that the 3D movies did not have a bigger following.

The Egyptian stuff in this movie is even more awesome in 3d. Not sure what the rest of the movie is about; bunch of kids flying around or setting things on fire and stuff...a lot like a peculiar children movie I watched once. But this is worth a buy for the 3d even though I'm not sure what the movie was about or who these kids were flying around.

Some comic book fans might not be satisfied with the accuracy of the characters in this one, but cant make everyone happy and be relatively close to realistic instead of cartoonish. The action and effects were good as usual. The plot was good and most of the characters were close to their comic book selves.

I'm a fan of all the X-Men movies and this one is no exception. Special effects, quality of the video, characters are all excellent. I gave it a 4 star rating instead of a 5 because I sometimes tire of the way over the top destruction. I know every one of the movies has that element and I guess each movie has to one-up the previous one. I wouldn't mind if they'd dial it down some.

Good movie, but not better than part 1 or 2. Decent ending to the triopgy but you can tell that some actors have outgrown the part. (Jennifer Lawrence and Fastbender) the movie itself is okay. Not bad, but you'll probably enjoy part one or two more. The video quality is VERY good, still not quite demo material but its good. (Still waiting for a true native 4K movie from hollywood)

So the Xmen films, although starting the super hero movie craze....sorry blade....im talking the PG-13 and under phase. These movies, while fun and entertaining have not really evolved. X2 was an amazing movie and everything just sort of stayed the same since them. They dont bring anything to the table and they keep stepping on their own timeline making it more and more confusing.

I'm not sure if it is just my Xbox, buy during very intense scenes it stutterers and had half the screen displaying different frames for almost a full minute once. My Xbox works fine on my other UHD discs, so I don't think that was the problem. Otherwise the movie is good. It looks fantastic in UHD, but with the issues decoding it, I would rather watch the standard blu-ray.

I was very pleased with this Steelbook version of the movie. The case and the artwork were nicely done. I saw the movie at the theatre and was very eager to buy it even more so when I saw a Best Buy had a Steelbook version. Seeing the X-Men as we have known them start from a newer perspective and history was cool and dealing with such an uber powerful foe. I wish Apocalypse would have been larger and closer in appearance to the comics.

For those that didn't grow up with the comics and didn't have social media, the today version brings a lot of those late nights reading and writing down stuff to provide to your cousin how much better a characters was, to life! To see the action and powers on screen like we do know versus how we watershed it back in the 70's is truly a marvel! I enjoyed it and would watch it over and over as I've done with the previous X-MEN movies!!

There was action and an alright story, but the whole thing was kind of uninspired

I know this wasn't one of the more popular films in the X-Men series, but we found it to be action packed and enjoyable. Sometimes, the fan boys have a problem with a franchise deviating from the original premise. I'm a longtime fan and I understand the need to modernize these franchises to attract a new generation of fans! This film is definitely not a waste of time. Enjoy!

I bought this combo pack on a whim since it was nearly the same price as the regular blu-ray combo (at the time). I haven't been able to use the 4K disc yet, but when we watched the regular blu-ray it had skipping issues (defect in the disk) so I had to take it back to Best Buy and exchange it for another. Have not had time to verify that the replacement is any better, yet.

Huge X-Men fan! Bough the 3D bluray version and I really enjoyed it. Great use of 3D! It's not quite as good as Days of Future Past, but that's a hard one to beat considering it was my favorite of all the X-Men movies. Loved the new actors playing old characters we know and love, especially great choice of Sophie Turner as Jean Grey. I highly recommend checking this one out!

X-men continues their stories with this action packed adventure. I absolutely enjoyed watching our heroes do their thing. The technology needed to bring this film to life is incredible. The realism is believable and beautiful. The millions of dollars spent to make this film and I get to own this work for a a few dollars makes it a great value. Can't wait till the next one!
