An ok movie. Certainly not as good as it could have been. Still better than X3

It seems every new X-Men movie contradicts the last. Although at times confusing, fans continue to gobble up the stories begging for more. So does this film work? I think so. Just don’t get caught up in the film being so far removed from the original story. So keep your hands and arms inside the illusion at all times and have a blast!

The "Geek Age" is creating ridiculous expectations for Superhero movies - fans expect Oscar material from what are essentially just action movies based on adolescent fiction. I've seen this movie rated down on numerous "geek" websites, but If you're like me and you think a Superhero movie should just be smash bang fun, then you will enjoy X-Men Apocalypse.

Fairly solid entry into the X-verse if films. While it was a great intro to the classic core of characters (Storm, Jean, Cyclops) the film still misused Fassbender's Magneto and McAvoy's Xavier and over-used JLaw's Mystique (given her lackluster performance, she may even agree). Still better than The Last Stand and a decent film all around.

Riveting installment in the X-Men Franchise! Charles Xavier and Company are back and must now save the world from an ancient mutant named Apocalypse. The special effects are amazing and the cast of characters from the comic books is expanded greatly. Overall, I thought it was a great adventure and solid acting/casting. I could have done without the anti-religious comments, but overall an entertaining movie.

The previous movie - Days of Future Past was much more fulfilling than this part. However, this one captures the imagination of the great villain Apocalypse. While the plot was fast-tracked some in my view, it hit all the points it needed. The movie accomplishes its target by giving great visuals and impending danger. Its a great finish to this cast.

This movie was alright. If you like the other X-Men movies then you won't be disappointed. There are some great scenes (maybe one of the best in the series), but it is not 'Days of Futures Past.' I was hoping for more from this title. Apocalypse is one of my favorite villains, but the movie left me wanting more from the character.

As for the film itself, X-Men: Apocalypse is fun but a tad stale. The timelines in the films get confusing but Director Bryan Singer returns to deliver an action packed adventure. The BluRay is decent, it comes with a digital copy, some featurettes that are a bit short, and a pretty good comentary track. The case itself is cool, its grey colored with an X logo up top. I would recommend this BluRay.

This is an ok movie. The other X-men movies are better, but this one isn’t bad.

I have to say that I'm impressed with this one so far. It's my first 2-in-1 and I think I nailed it. The system is very snappy. It looks great and runs even better. I was a little skeptical at first, but when I made it to Best Buy and had a chance to tinker with the display model I was hooked. I would highly recommend this one for just about anyone. I'm not a gamer so I can't speak to performance there.

Another action packed, mutant filled, adventure for this addition to the ---"X-Men" line up. -Price: Fair (4K is alway pricy now, but likely 8K players will be able to upscale so not a movie you will have to replace in the future) -Plot what you would expect -Attention held -Recommend: Definitely if you have the other movies.

I've been an X-Men fan since the early '90s, collecting the comics. There are parts of the movie that conflict with the comic storyline (and even some of the other earlier X-Men movies), but this doesn't really detract from the movie. It's an engaging storyline with a great cast of characters. I especially enjoyed watching the earlier days of some of the older characters from the original X-Men movies.

Although I believe that it suffered from a poor movie theater outing,especially with the other bunch of blockbuster movies it was competing against at its debut. This is a fun and exciting x men movie. This also explains much of the where and why the main familiar characters come from. While still introducing new characters as well. I highly enjoyed the movie.and it has a fantastic sound effects tract.

Two thumbs up on this installment of Stan Lees X-men movie Apocalypse. Which features the coming of Apocalypse who comes into contact with an early eighties version of the X-Men. Everything about the movie is great as long as you like comic book action a good story and great special effects. Favorite scenes in the movie is all of Quicksilvers.Fun for the entire family ages 12 and up.Hope you enjoy!

Decent overall movie, bad villain but action scenes are good. 3d is very good.

X-Men: Apocalypse is an average X Men movie. Not good than other X-Men movies.

X-Men Apocalypse is the third movie in the "reboot" timeline of the X-Men series, and your favorite mutants finds themselves fighting against their biggest threat yet, Apocalypse, who is the original mutant and a god from an era long passed. Full of twists and turns and breath-taking action, X-Men Apocalypse is a worthwhile ride.

So basically this movie sets off as the beginning of the X-Men story it's not bad but if your a comic book reader like iam the comic books and the movie are completely different overall it was a good movie I gave it for stars cause I wanted to see more of wolverine instead of a short cameo but it's worth checking out if your a Marvel fan enjoy.

This entry in the X-Men series shows the team now set in the 80's & facing their greatest foe Apocalypse. The movie is standard superhero fare, & fan's of the series will enjoy this movie. Special features extras included are pretty good, though cold be better... This release includes the 3D version, also available on UHD 4K.
