I loved the previous Xmen film, Days of future past. This one was a disappointment. Too many characters crammed into the film with no real development. This could have been a two part movie. I thought the dialogue was not very well written. Seemed like a huge step backwards from the previous excellent film. There is a joke in the film where some of the characters have just watched Return of the Jedi and say the third one is always the worst. That really applies to this film coming after First class and Days of future past. Still, it has good action and is worth seeing. Also, the steelbook cover is amazing!!!

I'm hit and miss with the X-Men franchise, they're either really good, or just not doing the comics justice. This goes for this movie, it could have been amazing, but they dropped the ball, still entertaining though

I try to watch action movies while I'm on the elliptical because they make it less boring. If a movie keeps me from looking down to see how long I've been on the elliptical, I consider it a success. This one worked!

This movie had its good moments, could have been better, if they added more action set piece battles, and if magneto got more screen time with his powers. Also they could have showcased more of the new mutants powers.

Great movie with 5 star CGI effects. This movie has earned $550 mil, but experts (critics) state "too many special effects". Duh. Obviously these guys have never spent a minute on PlayStation/X-Box systems. Nice addition to my X-Men/Wolverine collection.

I purchased this version of the film specifically for the Steelbook case. It looks great. The movie is an average film. I generally enjoy the X-Men films, and I liked this one, but it lacked the charisma and/or urgency other films in the series have had.

X-Men Apocalypse is a great looking movie that falls short on a gripping story or exciting action sequences to draw you in. The 3-D on the Blu ray is well executed and shows great depth. Sharp picture with hardly any ghosting coming up at all. Sound is boisterous and room filling with a surround sound set up, with plenty of bass coming thru the sub-woofer. But all this is wasted on a slow slogging story line of x-men characters meeting each other in uninteresting ways, and long waits for action sequences that when they actually happen, feel like they're stuck in first gear and dragged out for far too long.

This addition to the X-men collection was entertaining. There's a lot of jumping around with the different movies, but you will be able to keep up with the plot in this release if you may have missed a few releases.

Can't decide if I like the time twist and new cast, but they have to do something as the actors age. Still a good action movie no matter who plays the characters. Interesting to see the characters starting out differently, but ending up almost the same.

well yet again they have out done themselves with another movie it just keeps getting better I own all the movies and have to say that i'm still surprised that I can be amazed still you have to watch this movie a new and different twist to it but awesome

I never saw this movie at the theater and watching at home was ok. I'm a big fan yet I think some of the costumes could have used some more work. Some discrepancies in the movie, but all in all it was entertaining.

This is one the kind of movie that you pop into your 4k player to show off what your TV can do. While its not the best XMEN movie, it is definitly the best looking one! Amazing special effects and action!

I enjoy action adventure movies and anything science fiction and really enjoy the X-Men genre. However, I had trouble following a timeline on this but still enjoyed the movie. I just rolled with it and moved on. :-)

X-Men Apocalypse is a very good movie and good conclusion to the First Class trilogy. The character of Apocalypse would have been better played by a different actor. Did not feel that he was menacing enough.

The movie followed a similar format of the previous films and provided some good character development. I think the best part was the improved graphics and content. Definitely looking forward to seeing the next one.

I have really enjoyed the X-Men reboot, and this movie is a good conclusion to that trilogy. I enjoyed watching it and I always like to get the Best Buy steelbooks for the Marvel/DC movies because they look so cool.

I'm a big fan of the X-Men series and this is a good addition to it. I own the 4K versión and this, the 3D and I can honestly say that the 3D is my favorite. I take depth and pop out effects over watching skin imperfections on the faces with 4K.

This film was a bit hyped but when I went to see it , I felt like it was a bit of a letdown. The whole concept was kind of done before, with the galactic overlord coming and the team having to put aside their differences and band together to fight an defeat the bad guy. The special effects were good, but nothing too outstanding. I bought this because it was on sale and I had a gift certificate, so in the end, I added to my collection of previous films in the collection, but having watched it once since I bought it, now I can wait a few years before I watch it again.

This is a good continuation to The Saga, they introduce new characters bring back some old characters and honestly it's not that bad. But to quote the movie "the third one is Never As Good As the second one".

Although I'm not a Brian Singer fan, I think he did a pretty good job of this story. The action sequences alone were worth the price of admission. And the ending (Spoiler Alert!) with the Phoenix was amazing!
