The video and audio are very good. The 3D is great. Nice selection of bonus features, too.

First, let me say that I love the X-men. They've always been my favorite superhero team. I've already accepted that fox ruined the characters and the timelines. Having said that, I really enjoyed this movie. I loved that they tried to bring the original x-men together. seeing young Jean and Scott was great, especially after seeing what's ahead. I wasn't a fan of Apocalypse in the movie. He wasn't strong like in the comics, or even the 90's cartoon. His costume was also an issue for me, and others. It looked cheap, plus his boots reminded me of kiss. I didn't feel that Oscar was the right choice. He's a good actor, but I don't feel like he was made for this part. Apocalypse has a big presence when he's around. I didn't feel like they captured this. I forgot about all this when the final battle happened. Seeing the phoenix come to life was the best part. I've been waiting to see the actual phoenix character come to life. overall, I loved the film. it's far from perfect, but it's a good popcorn movie. If you were a fan of the 90's X-men, I think you'll love how it ends when they come together for a training session. I also loved that part of the film. It brought me back to 90's nostalgia. On a side note, I like the steelbook.

Better than X3 and Origins but not as good as DOFP and First Class. The movie is good but the third act lasts a bit too long. If you like DOFP you will most likely like most of this movie but if you already hate the franchise this won't change your mind. The story is fine to good with Apocalypse being a good, not great villain. I would recommend this to anyone who likes the franchise already.

This review is based on the film transfer only -- After buying around 20 titles on UHD, this one really stood out to me as very impressive. After looking at the Blu-Ray disc afterwards, it became even more impressive. Lots of great detail, color and the HDR added to the movie. The only downside is that you're forced to choose between a 4K UHD (+Blu-Ray +digital copy) or 3D 1080p (+blu-ray + digital copy) with this title. I was very tempted to get the 3D, but overall loved the detail in the 4K UHD version. Definitely check it out! Viewed on LG OLED 65c6p with Oppo 203 player

The Apocalypse: The moral behind the story of this mutant was that he wanted to take over the entire world. To wipe out & erase all mankind; everything & to start again from scratch. The Four Horsemen that he gave more power- I feel that he really didn't. He gave them the power and strength that they always had from within and he just tapped into it for them. They prevailed. All 4 of them prevailed! They conquered AGAINST the apocalypse. They proved that they were strong.

There have been many X Men movies made but this one is definitely my favorite. Why, the villian in this one is just plain powerful and unbeatable! The Blu Ray Dolby Digital mix is loud and the bass will wreck or blow your speakers if you don't have the right ones. The surround sound effects are awesome and the color is great. Action scene begins immediately but this movie has an actual plot and is believable. A must have!

If you have not seen the last two movies in this new timeline for the X-Men, you may be lost for most of the movie. As those two movies changed the X-Men's timeline this movie is a really good start/continuation to reboot of this series. The characters are both funny and dramatic. Worth watching after catching up with all the changes that happened before.

Out of all the X-men movies i believe this has been the best one. The story was alot different from the comics but that is expected when it comes to directors/writers not wanting to a successful comicbook movie lol. The acting is always good except Lawrence, really think she phoned it in. The action was superb, story was decent and comedy was there.

I truly enjoy the story line of this movie from beginning to end. This is a extremely well-balanced movie when it comes to special effects and its story-line. And to top it off, the steel-book package made it a MUST-BUY item, especially if you are a steel-book movie collector as I am. Great job Best Buy for promoting these spectacular and exclusive steel-book movies!!!

The movie was enjoyable but didn't have that same feeling as First Class and Days of Future Past. Where those movies are connected, Apocalypse feels like a standalone film separate from the other 2. But overall it was still a good X-Men movie and can't wait to see what is next for the future of the franchise!

I really enjoyed watching this movie. It was entertaining. I don't agree with all the negative reviews out there. I read them and went to go see it anyway because I am a X-men fan. I was not disappointed. Is it the best one? No, but still very good in my opinion. I would recommend it to any fan of X-men movies.

I honestly thought the movie would be better. The graphics in 4K and HDR look incredible. you definitely notice a difference. However, as far as the movie it self is concerned, I am a bit disappointment. I though/expected the move to be better. really not liking what they have done with the x-men movies.

THE STORY LINE OF THE NEW "X-MEN" MOVIE IS FANTASTIC AND THE ENTIRE CAST IS EXCEPTIONAL. GREAT SPECIAL EFFECTS AND DIRECTING BY BRYAN SINGER. I HAVE A VAST COLLECTION OF THE EXCLUSIVE TO BEST BUY "STEELBOOK" EDITIONS OF MOVIES ON BLU-RAY. THANKS BEST BUY!

There was a lot to live up to with this movie, considering how long fans of X-Men were waiting to see Apocalypse. While he didn't deliver as one would have hoped, it still was a fun movie. Marvel continues to pull off quality movies with each release.

I purchased this movie to try the HDR capabilities of my new Tv and I wasn't dissapointed. The colors look great. As far as the movie, it is a good Xmen movie but I felt it had a predictable plot and a weak villain; still very enjoyable.

X-Men Apocalypse was an average movie in the X-Men universe. Nothing like Deadpool, which was exceptionally funny for a proper origin story. Apocalypse lacked a truly complex and compleling villian. Thoroughly enjoyed filmmaker delved into the heartbreak that Eric/Magneto continues to endure throughout our time with him. There was a clear lack of development for the other three horsemen (with the exception of Storm). I did like that the director essentially was able to begin a new chapter in the X-Men universe with the casting of fresh, young, and talented cast. I look forward to seeing what this universe has in store going forward.

The last two movies prior to this have been a breath of fresh air for those of who love X-men and the third here doesn't disappoint. The new cast is fantastic and Apocalypse delivered much more so than I was anticipating. A must watch for fans of the recent movies!

The special effects they are everywhere! But man they look good. It's worth to see the movie just for the effects themselves, I mean it. Watching it in a dark room made me feel like im there poking at the lightning bolts that storm was shooting ha ha
