This movie was well cast which made up for some of the writing problems. Movie could have used about 15 more minutes of content to create more tension. It lacked that edge of your seat feeling the first time you watch it. This version includes the Jean Grey scene not shown in theaters.

This movie turned out to be better than the promo material led me to believe but it still felt lacking in some character development. With many new mutants being introduced I guess that can be expected. For the non comic book fan you wouldn't know how villainous Apocalypse really is

Xmen Last Stand massacred the Jean Grey/Phoenix story. Days of Future Past corrected that mistake, and Apocalypse was a well done story. Not 100% true to the original source material comic books, but that is just a given for being on the big screen. Nice setup for coming xmen movies.

Good like any other X-Men movie I always buy them and I knew this one was going to be good since they started to add a couple of new characters and it shows how storm became to be in other characters plus a new villain that we have only seen in the comic books but not yet on screen

I have enjoyed the X-Men "reboot" films more than the originals, and this is another great one. This will be the last to mix the old and new cast (to some extent) The story is pretty good, although like most comic movies not exactly like i went in the books. But still very enjoyable

I know not everyone enjoys the X-Men movies, but I just love watching them because I think there's such an interesting underlying message and demonstration about how we can have differing opinions and feel passionate about them, but still be unified against true evils. (I think if we could truly internalize these messages, we would all only be better for it.)

I did not like the quick intros to some characters but that being said the story was nice and the characters were well thought out. For those comic book fans there are some changes but for a film they were necessary. Good cameos and it is nice to see the extra scene at the back. THe blu ray had some nice features and for total film buffs it is the way to go.

This one isn't as good as the previous films in the franchise, but certainly worth owning, especially if you collect the X-Men movies. Great special effects and sound on the BluRay. I also see that for Black Friday this one will be on sale CHEAP so I would definitely pick it up.

It's not as bad as some people say. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it more than, "Days of Futures Past". Maybe, I need to watch DOFP again. lol You see Apocalypse use some of his power in taking some people out one time and he doesn't do it again. He's all powerful but doesn't use it.

The movie is okay. I'm glad I get to watch it at my convenience. After looking for the movie title with no success, I ask a sales clerk to help me and he simply would not. He said "if it's not on the shelf we're out of it." I wanted to watch this movie so I scour the racks again only to find a full display waiting to be purchased. One of the things I like about Best Buy is the small parking lot compared to Walmart: this is ruined when the staff can't be bothered. Help at this Best Buy is spotty at best. Sometimes you get great help while most of the time you just don't. Ordering online seems the only way to get great service without the hassle of poor sales help. I loved it. My son didn't. I was blown away by the final battle scene. SPOILER ALERT: Phoenix's full power on display, don't mess with her! If you love movies for pure entertainment value, and don't care about depth, morals of the story or lessons learned, this movie rocks!

I had to have X-Men Apocalypse as I own every Xmen movie. I found this one to be as good as any of the previous movies. Thought the story was well developed. Full of entertaining action and a little comedy to mix it up. Takes the mutant development back a few thousand years.

Marvels movies always are fun to watch. Some are better than others, but there is always some snarky humor snuck into them. Definitely not the best, but definitely not the worst! Timelines are always fluid, but just relax and enjoy it--it's how the Marvel Universe works!!!

Another great edition in the franchise. Overall could of developed Apocalypse better. They didn't do the comic character justice, but it is only a movie after all. Standard bluray with some special features. No issues redeeming the digital copy

I really liked this movie. It had good writing, fair pacing, and it really felt like an X-Men comic book. The effects were great with the exception of Apocalypse - he really should not have been Oscar Isaacs in make-up; I'm usually against heavy CGI but this one should have been. If you are a fan of the 90s X-Men, this really should make you happy.

I like that the X-Men movies get better as they go on. sometimes movie series get boring and worse as they progress. This one is one of my favorites. The adversary was well played out and wasnt just some random villain who tired to take over the world. The characters always stand for something in these movies and thats what captures my attention.

Some comic book fans might not be satisfied with the accuracy of the characters in this one, but cant make everyone happy and be relatively close to realistic instead of cartoonish. The plot was good and most of the characters were close to their comic book selves.

After all the mediocre reviews, I wasn't expecting much. I really liked it! It wasn't an amazing story, but aspects of it were perfect. Quicksilver was once again a total high point in the film. An interesting introduction to some characters we know and some we don't.

X-Men Apocalypse is a good end to the X-Men: First Class, Days of Future Past series. Is it the best one (no, Days of Future Past is better) but Apocalypse is better than First Class even if the fight against Apocalypse is not that great (if he's so powerful that is).

Okay, this doesn't hold up compared to First Class or Days of Future Past but it doesn't completely fall apart. One could nitpick any of these superhero movies to death but sometimes you just have to take them for what they are: a quick hour or two of entertainment.
