This movie follows up from the last Xmen and Wolverine movies. For those who followed the comics, it does not follow the origins of some of the characters. It is at least worth watching a few times, but it seemed rushed towards the end.

This is the 3rd installment in the X-Men: Beginnings trilogy. I think this is the 2nd best film behind X-Men: First Class, but better than X-Men: Days of Future Past. If you're a fan of the X-Men series, it's definitely worth a watch.

I'm a BIG X-Men fan. I collected the comics as a kid and I've seen all the movies. I love this one, The story is a great adaptation of the comic. Of course they had to change a few things. The casting is perfect, especially young Jean Gray, the story is intriguing. and the special effects are spectacular.

One of the better Xmen movies. lots of action, but a few to many charters to introduce. If I didnt read the comics I would be a little confused. nice job taking story line from comic and condensing it yet keeping the story live true.

I believe they didn't develop the young x-men enough by giving them a better back story for each character before they start taking on apocalypse. They also should've had the original 4 horseman instead of magneto, storm and psylocke.

Maybe my expectations were just too high. I cannot even tell you what was missing. Something just did not work, but not enough to make it bad. Just enough ti reduce it from great to merely very good. Still worth having in the library.

Not sure how to take this film. It does not seem to fit well into a rapidly deminishing franchise. Maybe its just time Fox gave the rights back to Marvel for a fresh reboot. Maybe we can get the brood saga on the silver screen.

I hadn't seen this one in theaters because of bad reviews and word of mouth. But I got it to complete my collection and it actually turned out to be a pretty good movie. Go in with low expectations and be very pleasantly surprised.

I was a bit skeptical when looking at the preview of this movie. Apocalypse is portray as a huge mutant in stature. The actor playing him in this movie is short. I figure it wouldn't be that good, but I was wrong. Plenty of action.

Well, the stories just keep getting better, and I love the new characters too! Although I'm a big fan of this type film being seen on the giant screen, I love the disc version for all of the bonus material - especially the behind the scenes and how they did it extras! GREAT home viewing experience!

I thoroughly enjoy the X-men franchise, even from the original movies and any subsequent spin offs. This particular movie seems to fall a bit short as compared to the rest. Not that it was bad, just not as good as the others.

Watching this movie I didn't know what to completely expect. It had a good amount of action with a few slow parts. There were some characters in the movie that didn't do anything, but they may just be a preview for the next one.

I like the rebooted X-Men franchise. Each film brings on new and returning characters. Fassbender is one of my favorites. Quicksilver is back and gets more screen time, which was a disappointment from Days of Future Past. Plus, I really enjoy the younger Nightcrawler. Love the 80s era. Only downside for me with this reboot is the focus of Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique being in the center. I was fine with the character in First Class but since, she's become a negative with each film. Beyond that, I liked the film and I'm curious to see where they go with this franchise as the X-Men are a rare team of characters that I do like from Marvel.

the idea of mutants being previous gods from centuries past is kind of interesting. nice little twist to that. of course good movie because it has all our favorite heros and heroines in it. lots of action and i liked the story.

I do love the X-Men franchise, and Apocalypse is no exception. There is plenty of action (including an epic use of an Eurythmics song) many characters, but I do wish the story was a bit more cohesive. All in all, a good movie.

I heard mixed reviews on this one and decided to check it out on my own. I was pleasantly surprised as the plot is a little odd but the story is still beyond entertaining. Good watch and great effects make it more than doable.

Didn't get to see this movie in theaters so have been anxiously awaiting it to come out on DVD and Blu-ray. Bought as an impulse since I love all the previous xmen movies.. Loved it from the get-go and ended up watching it twice in one night (which isn't too bad for a movie that's over 2+ hrs)!

Even though I am not a Marvel comic book fan and unfamiliar with the characters in this movie, I can appreciate the special effects and graphics within it. Great movie and the actors do a good job portraying their characters.

Answers some questions along the way and a well-made X-Men continuation/prequel film. Marvel is still kicking a**. Much better than the DC dribble we're seeing (except their TV shows are good). Best Buy had a good deal too.

Apocalypse had some exciting parts, and had a very unique "look". Not necessarily faithful to the source material, so don't expect any particular storyline. If you liked the other movies then you should enjoy this as well.
