It is a screen adaptation of a bunch of stories that have already been written. If every detail was in there it would have to be multiple movies. It was action packed with a cool story that had enough little twists.

Not the best X-Men film, but it's still a lot of fun. The young versions of our original team are well-cast and really exciting to watch. The Blu Ray looks awesome, and the grey packaging is cool and different.

i love buying my movies at best buy. they are normally great priced and if there is a better price elsewhere, they will price match it and save you the trip and hassle of shopping at different locations. the staff is friendly and helpful for the most part! oh ya and the movie was great too!

I enjoyed this movie as it had good action scenes. Problem is that they are starting to make too many of these and saturating the market. I think it would be your best bet to wait until the holidays as this will be on sale.

This story line was a little confusing at times, but it helps to fill in a lot of the missing gaps from the previous movies. It's too bad that this movie didn't come out about 5 years ago, but it does a great job at telling the evolving X-Men story with an Extension Level Event scenario.

Having been an X-Men fan from the 80's I was highly entertained with this one. Although I feel the first X-Men trilogy were better than First Class and Days of Future Past, this one is still a must see filled with plenty of action. I also really enjoyed the addition of the new cast members.

I would recommend this movie to any X-Men fan. While it did not reach 5 stars for me, I could see where it would for any die hard X fan. The creation of Apocalypse (the anti-hero) was a bit lengthy but probably worthwhile.

If you are a fan of the X-men movies, you should enjoy this movie. I am not sure why the reviews weren't good, because I really enjoyed it. Not all ties with some of the originals, but it mostly does... be open minded ;)

I know reception to this one was a little lukewarm compared to the last two X-Men films, but I found this one to be as enjoyable as X-Men First Class. As usual with prior X-Men releases audio/video are top notch in this blu-ray release. Highly recommended if you're a fan of the franchise.

With the two major studios putting years of planning into thier Superhero universes, it's very apparent Fox doesn't follow this trend. I love the X-Men but it seems too often these movies come out with relatively low expectations due to the egregious amount of continuity errors and the continued emphasis on Mystique. I hope in the future Fox should put more time into their scripts instead of churning out more Jennifer Lawrence. She's a great actor but the X-Verse is so mich bigger than one actor. Unless your Deadpool. But then again, that movie took years to develop. I highly recommend this to everyone IF it's on sale!

HAD A LOT OF THRILLING ACTION AND REVEALS ORIGINS TO BALD XAVIER, JEAN UTILIZING HER TRUE STRENGTH, AND OTHERS THAT BROUGHT THE FIRST WELL KNOWN X-MEN TEAM. ITS A MUST WATCH TO FULLY UNDERSTAND THE X-MEN UNIVERSE.

Not the best of the X-Men movies thus far, but still an entertaining movie and certainly not the worst of the X-Men movies. Good special effects are showcased on this Bluray version. Lots of neat bonus content.

I'm hit and miss with the X-Men franchise, they're either really good, or just not doing the comics justice. This goes for this movie, it could have been amazing, but they dropped the ball, still entertaining though

I try to watch action movies while I'm on the elliptical because they make it less boring. If a movie keeps me from looking down to see how long I've been on the elliptical, I consider it a success. This one worked!

This movie had its good moments, could have been better, if they added more action set piece battles, and if magneto got more screen time with his powers. Also they could have showcased more of the new mutants powers.

I never saw this movie at the theater and watching at home was ok. I'm a big fan yet I think some of the costumes could have used some more work. Some discrepancies in the movie, but all in all it was entertaining.

I enjoy action adventure movies and anything science fiction and really enjoy the X-Men genre. However, I had trouble following a timeline on this but still enjoyed the movie. I just rolled with it and moved on. :-)

The movie followed a similar format of the previous films and provided some good character development. I think the best part was the improved graphics and content. Definitely looking forward to seeing the next one.

X-Men Apocalypse is a very good movie and good conclusion to the First Class trilogy. The character of Apocalypse would have been better played by a different actor. Did not feel that he was menacing enough.

This film was a bit hyped but when I went to see it , I felt like it was a bit of a letdown. The whole concept was kind of done before, with the galactic overlord coming and the team having to put aside their differences and band together to fight an defeat the bad guy. The special effects were good, but nothing too outstanding. I bought this because it was on sale and I had a gift certificate, so in the end, I added to my collection of previous films in the collection, but having watched it once since I bought it, now I can wait a few years before I watch it again.
