Movies are now so good in 3D that you don't get that headache or the uncomfortable feeling that old style 3D movies use to give you. Love the fact that now you can digital store your movie purchase and watch in so many different ways such as on your tablet/cellphone. Technology has come a long way but "why are the dvd's still so expensive?". Where are all the bargains that come with mass appeal? Best Buy needs to lower their prices on the dvd's,please! Thanks you for your concern:-)LOL

X-men movies has come a long way from early the 2000's and now the mutant apocalypse is unleashed on the world. and with that being said destruction will follow but how far will he go. Sorry i will not give out any spoilers to the movie but if you like the x-men and all the powers they can wield then you will love this movie.

X-Men Apocalypse is a solid, fun movie, although it doesn't reach the same level as Days of Future Past. Highly entertaining, although the movie seems a little overstuffed. There seemed to be too many side stories going on and lacks some focus. Still, very entertaining and the scene with Quicksilver in this movie is as good, if not better (my opinion), than the Quicksilver kitchen scene in DoFP. Definitely worth watching.

While other movies in the series are rated higher, this is entertaining on its own in that it feels more like a comic book than the others. Particularly with some of the visuals. The movie was shot using 3D cameras and should be seen that way. While the 4k edition is nice, it doesn't even remotely come close to the 3D experience...especially on the Quicksilver sequence. (Extra star added for the 3D.)

I love all the X-men movies. I was happy to get this one in 4K because there aren't too many movies out in that format. Truthfully, I can't see the difference between 4K and Blu Ray unless they are side by side. So many movies have such dark scenes that you don't get a chance to really see the clarity. This movie has a decent number of well lighted scenes, so I was able to enjoy the new format. This also contains the Blu Ray and the digital format. That's a lot of bang for the buck.

The first half of the film drags a lot, as a whole lot of pieces need to be put into place. The climax, once it's become clear just how much of a menace Apocalypse really is, is spectacular, perhaps the best in the whole series. There's another great Quicksilver scene, and another strong emotional performance by Fassbender.

Not so good as the previous two (new generation) of X-Men movies, but good enough to add it to the collection

It's a good movie with great potential. Sadly the characters aren't done justice, especially Apocalypse. An actor like Oscar Isaac can do so much more with a character like that than he was able to do. However, all this is to say the movie isn't bad at all. I would still recommend it to superhero fans and highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of this franchise like me.

I don't understand why critics are disliking this film. I think it is a fine addition to the X-Men universe. Although this may not be Bryan Singer's strongest film, I think it's a good film nevertheless that offers exciting action, strong performances from Michael Fassbender as Magneto and James McAvoy as Charles, and a solid script. My only complaint is that Apocalypse as the villain is a little generic.

I am a die hard X-Men buff and enjoyed this movie immensely. Saw it in the theater and could not wait for the dvd release. We have watched it 3x already - did miss some of the original characters and wish they could have portrayed their original characters in a younger version but this movie did not disappoint. If you are not familiar with the X-Men series, you may want to view those first to familiarize yourself with the theme, characters, etc. Loved this movie!

Pretty fun movie. I'm not focused on fidelity to the comic book canon or the like, but enjoy my occasional superhero movie. This one was fun and while having seen the previous films in this round of x-men movies, didn't feel like that was essential to enjoying the movie. FYI - my wife isn't big on the superhero genre and hadn't seen the last two movies in the franchise but still seemed to enjoy this one.

Even though they didn't get the right look for apocalypse, it's still entertaining with plenty of action

I noticed that lately some superhero movies that have come out tend to have a sloppy synchronization of each character's life story and background. I think this movie is one of the few that showcases enough information about each character so that you understand who they are and what role they play in the series without confusing the audience and still be able to organize the plot in such a smooth way.

I am a sucker for steelbooks, this is another great one. As for the movie it's self, it is on the top tier of X-Men movies for me.The X-Men were the first comic books I ever read and got deeply into. Like the reset of the universe aspect of it. The extras are good, great gag reel and really good commentary. Plus, the free digital download is always a plus. It's a blu-ray so sound and picture are too notch.

I have been pretty happy with this X-men reboot series which started with X-Men: First Class. While not as good as the X-Men: Days of Future Past, it was still a really good movie which re-introduces us to Cyclops, Jean Gray and Nightcrawler. It was really cool to see Mystique play the good guy for a change too. If you have been enjoying the latest X-Men movie series, I would continue with this movie.

The first two "prequels" in the X-Men series of films were great. Apocalypse, though it tried to raise the stakes, failed somewhat and felt smaller in scope than the previous films. Its unfortunate, but if you're a fan of these movies, you have to see the continuation of these characters and you get to meet younger iterations of some familiar characters from the first trilogy of X-Men movies.

A friend of mine got me hooked on the movies from Marvel. I hadn't seen or heard much about this movie but decided to pick it up anyway especially since it was available in 3d (one of the few 3d releases these days). I found myself actually enjoying the movie once it got going although I had to watch it a couple of times to fully be able to follow it. All in all a full of action and enjoyable movie.

Overall, a decent film for the X-Men universe. I was a little confused why the bad guy wakes up and immediately decides to destroy the world - but I also didn't want an extra hour of political drama. Would really like to see X-men movies centric to some of the characters we don't know as well - ala Deadpool. Overall, this one is a good team-up movie. Watch for some of the deal with Black Friday.

Setup was a pretty easy activity. We replaced an existing old, small tv monitor with the Sharp 32" tv monitor. We've had good experiences in the past with Sharp televisions. We just followed the setup instructions that came with the owners manual. The setup of the Roku was a different story. It was extremely difficult, which surprised us since we already had a Roku box and program account.
