Full disclosure, I loved the original X-Men trilogy. I thought the Wolverine spinoffs were okay. I think the "new" trilogy is SO good. If you liked First Class and Days of Future Past, this will be to your linking. It wasn't quite as good as Days of Future Past (which I think the best of the new series) but better than First Class. That being said, still a VERY good movie. IMO.

Great movie. A little confusing as to how it fits into the X-Men saga. The whole X-Men saga has gotten very confusing. Which movies follows which? Great stand alone movie anyway! Must have it in 3D!! Thank You Best Buy for stocking it!! Remember, buy Blu-Ray's, don't stream --- Don't trust your favorite movies to someone elses server - it may not be there when you want it!!

The movie was good a lot of action story line is good, but if ur a true fan of the marvel universe you know they change the story line but if your not its a good movie worth investing in I feel this way about all marvel movies that they would be better if they stuck to the story line, but im not disappointed in the movies either

This was a worthy successor, even though out of the three, this one would have to be considered the "second" in terms of enjoyability, whilst, "Days of Future Past" was much better. this one ties up the events which led to the rise of Apocalypse at the end of the previous film. Overall, a good popcorn flick for evening to enjoy.

The movie itself has its good and bad moments, mostly good but it's hard to even notice when you're in awe of the quality of 4K the entire time lol. The detail is so outstanding and worth investing in all the 4K upgrades. Have to have a 4K TV and player with HDR capabilities to truly get the most out of the quality of the movie

X-Men: Apocalypse is a overall a good film depending on how you watch it. If you want the original comic book theme, you maybe disappointed. However, this film completes the overall arc of this interpretation of this X-Men series beginning with First Class. There could more character development but good decent film overall.

I saw this movie at the theater and was pleasantly surprised. I was afraid there were too many characters in this one for them to sufficiently develop the characters. That was not the case. This movie continues to develop the long-standing history of the mutant uprising and it's impact on humanity. I thought they did a great job with this movie and the effects were fantastic.

Yes, the timeline is hard to follow sometimes as you have to always consider the older movies, so if you're not up to date on what's gone down so far, it might be a little hard to follow. The upside is that now you'll have a good time re watching all the other films and watch how they culminate in this film. It was good!

Very good movie...good way to end the X-Men series,lots of action

Nice action a little slow to take off, not my best xmen movie.

If you have watched all the other x-men movies, then this is just another installment of where the franchise might be going (reboot?). I like the new characters are portrayed. But I don't know if they will ever have another Wolverine as good as G. Hackman. It will keep you guessing as to where the series might go next...

I really was glad they did the apocalypse it was long over due but this film is entertaining and it's a worthy sequel but it makes some classic errors jubilee is once again a one line cameo and so are many other mutants psylock is quiet for most of the film and certain actors just feel like background which is upsetting

A continuation of the X-Men story with new and remaking of some old characters. A good story, with a lot of story arcs continuing and starting for some. Excellent performance from Fassbender as Magneto. An interesting origin story of Apocalypse in the opening of the film leaving one to want to see more of that story.

I seldom get a chance to go to the movie theaters, so I wait for movies to come out on DVD and purchase the ones that interest me. The action and special effects of this movie are great. The story line also explains how Prof. X became bald. I do have a slight problem with the idea of early human history mutants, since these mutations occurred prior to the nuclear age.

My expectations for the movie were really high. It was okay, but could have been better. The graphics and costumes were good. The story could have improved. And Apocalypses could've been a better, more challenging villain. But I am fairly biased towards Marvel and the X-men, so I still found a way to enjoy the movie.

I liked this movie even though in my opinion it wasn't the best in the series (first class takes that spot). But I would rank It #2 in the series. You learn to accept Apocalypse how he is, which was a concern before the movie came out. All in all its worth the sale price especially if you are completing the trilogy!

I'm a big X-Men fan so I HATE the way they made Apocalypse look in this movie ... and they way he acts ... and they way he fights the X-Men, he is one of my favorite villains of all time. But every other part of this movie is really good and grounds the franchise back into a common spot to re-grow a lot of the series they way it should have been done from the start.

Good balance of story and action. As a fan of the comics, I think they added the new characters well and without them being a distraction. Good to see other characters develop more and start to take the lead. 3D effects were good and subtle without seeming forced and overdone. We'all watch it several times for sure.

As this may be the final chapter for the Xmen with this cast, I was hoping for a "going out with a bang" final chapter, and they did not disappoint. While many diehard fans have issues with this movie because of various parts and the way the characters were portrayed, I thought this was an excellent version of a well known X-Men villain....This is a must watch...

I really wanted to love this movie however it left me wanting more. Of the elements they left out I mean, the new characters had very little dialogue and development. The villain was underwhelming and I didn't particularly care for his actor. Overall, this movie could have been 20% more cooler with some deadpool.
