Fox attempts to hit the 'reset' button from what they've done with the franchise and seems to do so in good fashion. While the script holds true to the premise of the comic storyline, there are definitely differences between the two. Fun entertainment for both fans of the comics and fans of the movies franchise

I know not everyone enjoys the X-Men movies, but I just love watching them because I think there's such an interesting underlying message and demonstration about how we can have differing opinions and feel passionate about them, but still be unified against true evils. (I think if we could truly internalize these messages, we would all only be better for it.)

I did not like the quick intros to some characters but that being said the story was nice and the characters were well thought out. For those comic book fans there are some changes but for a film they were necessary. Good cameos and it is nice to see the extra scene at the back. THe blu ray had some nice features and for total film buffs it is the way to go.

While I did not read any reviews of this movie prior to buying it, I was exposed to numerous trailers. I have all the X-Men movies and I believe this one to be the best sequel out of them all. It gives some explanation for the existence of the mutants. The fact that they need to work together to defeat the villain makes for an exciting and action filled movie.

Though not the best film in the X-Men series, I felt apocalypse got a bad rap. To me, it's not all that difficult to figure out how everything fits in the timeline particularly given everything got reset after the events of days of future past. AV quality is top notch and the 3-D presentation is also quite good.

I love the X-Men movies. I enjoy the action and the surround sound. This isn't any different. The 4K version looks great though I can't comment on HDR as I only have 4K without the HDR. Still, it was good. I'm glad they come with the Blu Ray as well. I think most fans of the x-men universe will enjoy this film.

It was really cool to see the old favorites come back as there younger selves, but ultimately this will fall short from Days of Future Past because of the leapfrogging they do with Magneto...good bad other...and hiding Oscar Issacs behind all that makeup. Still a good movie overall, but oh what could have been.

If you are considering this purchase you are obviously a fan of the marvel series and this one will not disappoint. . Action packed, a straight forward plot line (world domination ) to fit into the X-Men storyline, and all the characters you have grown to love.. Get it, come on you know you want to! Lol!

By far the best X men movie do far. If you're a fan of the genre or not, you will love this movie. My only complaint is they should replace Jennifer Lawrence. Not that she isn't a great actor, I'd just rather they use no big names and put money into the plot and not salaries, which made the previous movies just pretty good. Great movie though, I loved it!!!

Love or hate the movie, you won't be disappointed by the quality of this pressing. The steel jacket is tastefully adorned with hieroglyphics, feels sturdy to the touch, and provides excellent protection for the Blu-ray and DVD discs inside. You also get a digital copy of the movie. The video and sound quality are excellent and there are plenty of extras.

Dark 3D images. Not the best. Movie itself is average

This movie suffered from having to follow two great X Men movies, First Class & Days of Future Past. That's all it's guilty of. It's not perfect, ends to quickly but overall is a good entry into the franchise. Great special effects, visually astonishing...maybe a bit to ambitious but still worth owning.

X-Men Apocalypse was a great addition to the franchise. The film was well made and so much so that I would love to see Apocalypse return in future films. The 3d blu ray is great. The picture and sound are top notch and the 3d comes off rather well. Better than most other 3d I have purchased. There are also plenty of extra features worth checking out.

I don't know if it's just me but the XMen movies have been getting much better than the original 3. The movie is very good. The ending is a bit of a let down but the events during the movie are great. You even get a few origin stories for some of the beloved XMen characters. This is a must watch and own.

I missed this one in the theater but I am glad I bought it. I am a significant X-Mean fan and this movie did not disappoint. I didn't watch too many previews so I didn't have a lot of expectations and I was surprised. I do not want to put any spoilers out so just get the movie and see for yourself!

Hello, This is not the best in the series of X-men movies and it's hard to compare it to the other movies because X-men Days of Future Past served as a reset in the universe to where the events in the first three movies did not occur. Need Doc Brown to explain the space/time continuum on this one!!!

It's hard to go wrong with an X-Men movie even though the actors/actresses change every few years. The purple all powerful mutant in this movie was just too over the top. He wasn't scary either. All other characters were true to their roles, and Wolverine as Weapon X was a nice and gruesome surprise.

This film, along with the other films, once again delivers great action with some amazing acting. I forget his real name, but the actor who plays magneto is just astounding. I was going to rate this at 3 stars but the acting by a few of the characters is just great and on point deserving the 4th star.

This movie gets hit a lot in reviews, but if you treat it like the popcorn movie that it really is, you should have a good time. Good effects, decent, although typical superhero plot, and decent acting. By no means is it among the greatest superhero movies, but is definitely much better than some.

I really liked this movie. It had good writing, fair pacing, and it really felt like an X-Men comic book. The effects were great with the exception of Apocalypse - he really should not have been Oscar Isaacs in make-up; I'm usually against heavy CGI but this one should have been. If you are a fan of the 90s X-Men, this really should make you happy.
