I was a little hesitant about picking this up because there had been so many mixed reviews (stating that it was the weakest of the new X-men movies). I kinda see what they meant, but being the weakest doesn't mean that it's bad. I still enjoyed it, particularly the Quicksilver sequences :)

As with most X-Men movies, the special effects are excellent! However, the story seemed to be a little worse than in the previous movie. Days of Future Past set up the older characters to return. This movie moves on with the newer characters. Would have liked to see Wolverine in a new movie!

Threw me for a loop as I didn't get the transition from Days of Future Past. But once I googled the help as it had been a while since I had seen the movies in succession it's a good sequel. No grammy's for acting for sure, but definitely goes great with the story line of the films and opens the franchise up for some other cross-overs.

This is real 4K not filmed in something less then up converted to fake 4K. If you want to see what your UHD TV is capable of displaying this is a good one to have. Do your research and make sure the 4K disc your purchasing was originally filmed in at least 4K. Pretty good movie too. Go to www.realorfake4k.com usually they are spot on.

It's a bit much to call this a bad movie. For what it's worth there is still a lot to enjoy. The main players really shine and go well with the younger cast who play younger versions of characters we've known for years. It's still a decent story and it does fine to set up new X men movies.

If you are watching this, you have probably seen the other X-Men films. If so, lets be honest your getting this and are going to watch it. If you have not seen another X-Men film ever, this one isn't the worst, but maybe not the best. Some safe middle of the road, fun action and visuals.

A good reunion of actors that put on their best show in a serviceable comic book story. The change in cast dynamics due to the popularity of Jennifer Lawrence affects the story balance and there are some logical inconsistences, but overall, its an enjoyable time. Good 3D if you enjoy that.

-Entertaining, visual effects, good cast, steelbook are the pros -Character development, story plot are the cons could have been really good but we will have to settle for fun mindless x-men entertainment that borders on frustration. The steelbook makes it a worthy purchase for fans.

Really enjoyed this one... I loved the backstory to each x-men.... I kinda wished that Magnito had a somewhat better happy ending than this ending ... I am so hoping that the truth comes out in another movie... Will NOT disappoint your expectations.... graphics were AMAZING!!! If you have a good surround system it sounds AMAZING!!!

This installment of Xmen was very good. At times it reminded me of the old Mummy movie with Brendan Frazier as this villain slowly regained his power for his attempt to conquer the world. Not a negative though as the action carried the movie to the end finale. 3D was well done as usual.

The movie is good. I feel apocalypse was somewhat of an “ok” representation of the X-men villains. Although all the characters new I feel we’re done well. As for this version there is no features really, but the added digital content (iTunes option) is an excellent bonus.

Not sure in these cases to review the movie or the product itself. So both? The movie was good. I liked it better than Days Of Future Past. The team is slowly coming along. The product itself comes with loads of special features and the quality is what you'd expect from a blu-ray diac.

What can I say about this film that hasn't already been said? Nothing really. It sounds and looks great but the story leaves something to be desired. They're considering rebooting the entire franchise so what does that tell you? Overall, I still liked it but not as well as Future Past.

This movie was well cast which made up for some of the writing problems. Movie could have used about 15 more minutes of content to create more tension. It lacked that edge of your seat feeling the first time you watch it. This version includes the Jean Grey scene not shown in theaters.

This movie turned out to be better than the promo material led me to believe but it still felt lacking in some character development. With many new mutants being introduced I guess that can be expected. For the non comic book fan you wouldn't know how villainous Apocalypse really is

Xmen Last Stand massacred the Jean Grey/Phoenix story. Days of Future Past corrected that mistake, and Apocalypse was a well done story. Not 100% true to the original source material comic books, but that is just a given for being on the big screen. Nice setup for coming xmen movies.

Having only watched the earlier X-Men movies with Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, etc. I wasn't sure if I would like the rebooted movies. However, the movie is very good with a good story line, lots of action, and great CGI effects. The picture also looks great in 4K UHD.

Good like any other X-Men movie I always buy them and I knew this one was going to be good since they started to add a couple of new characters and it shows how storm became to be in other characters plus a new villain that we have only seen in the comic books but not yet on screen

I have enjoyed the X-Men "reboot" films more than the originals, and this is another great one. This will be the last to mix the old and new cast (to some extent) The story is pretty good, although like most comic movies not exactly like i went in the books. But still very enjoyable

this movie was another in the recent reboots of the series. its a fun movie, and I'm very happy with it. the video is top notch and to bring it full circle, the Dolby ATMOS audio track fully immerses you in the action. I have a 7.1.4 sound system and let me tell you, this movie hit every speaker and surrounded my like crazy!
