I thought Days of Future Past was a little too forced and stretched, with too much going on and confusing timelines. However, I thought Apocalypse was great - great villain, great new characters, interesting developments in the pre-existing characters, and a nice setup for the next movie and younger generation of X-Men.

The newest installment in the X-MEN franchise tells the story of an old mutant that comes back to form named Apocalypse.. He's bent on wrecking the world, so a batch of younger and older X-MEN will have to band together and try and stop him. One of my favorite films in the franchise. A great action Marvel film set in 1983.

This is the 3rd installment in this series of X-men movies and they hit a home run. Apocalypse is one major bad guy from the comics. I remember reading the X-Men books with him in it. To see him on the screen is something else. And with his four horsemen. I also love the tease of the Phoenix as a potential sorry line later.

I enjoyed this movie but I am biased. Grew up with the Apocalypse narrative in the X-men comics. Enjoyed how it was brought to life and how the story lines and characters were drawn together. Some may consider this the movie on the way to the next movie, but I found it enjoyable.

Really good story that works well with the new villains. Professor X will be played by a new actor soon, if rumors are true, so Patrick Stewart did an awesome farewell job. 3D definitely enhances the movie though it's not pushed like Warcraft, Suicide Squad, or Dr Strange.

This one isn't as good as the previous films in the franchise, but certainly worth owning, especially if you collect the X-Men movies. Great special effects and sound on the BluRay. I also see that for Black Friday this one will be on sale CHEAP so I would definitely pick it up.

It's not as bad as some people say. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it more than, "Days of Futures Past". Maybe, I need to watch DOFP again. lol You see Apocalypse use some of his power in taking some people out one time and he doesn't do it again. He's all powerful but doesn't use it.

It was pretty awesome. Wish apocalypse didn't look so "painted" but was super excited about seeing psylocke(even thou that version she's supposed to be Asian) n seeing Jean Grey Phoenix. I hope they do Phoenix/Dark Phoenix saga again n not screw it up like in X-Men Last Stand.

This movie looks so good on my Big screen HDTV. What got my eye are the scenes in the beginning,when during the ancient time They are trying to transfer the spirit into Oscar Isaac body. The new Storm is no Hallie Berry, But she has promise. The scenes of the Speedster guy with the Eurythmics music playing was too cool.

The movie is okay. I'm glad I get to watch it at my convenience. After looking for the movie title with no success, I ask a sales clerk to help me and he simply would not. He said "if it's not on the shelf we're out of it." I wanted to watch this movie so I scour the racks again only to find a full display waiting to be purchased. One of the things I like about Best Buy is the small parking lot compared to Walmart: this is ruined when the staff can't be bothered. Help at this Best Buy is spotty at best. Sometimes you get great help while most of the time you just don't. Ordering online seems the only way to get great service without the hassle of poor sales help. I loved it. My son didn't. I was blown away by the final battle scene. SPOILER ALERT: Phoenix's full power on display, don't mess with her! If you love movies for pure entertainment value, and don't care about depth, morals of the story or lessons learned, this movie rocks!

I had to have X-Men Apocalypse as I own every Xmen movie. I found this one to be as good as any of the previous movies. Thought the story was well developed. Full of entertaining action and a little comedy to mix it up. Takes the mutant development back a few thousand years.

Ultra HD X-Men apocalypse was fantastic almost looked real my wife said she couldn't watch it because it looks so real life like I recommend this movie to anyone who has a Ultra HD Blu-ray player and a 4K television with high dynamic range is well worth the money and a movie watching experience is fantastic

Okay, this is already the fourth superhero film we have gotten so far this year. The fact that it's this good blows my mind, it's the sixth entry in the main X-Men series, and it might be the third best after X2 and Days of Future Past. I really interested watching this movie and cant wait till the next one comes out.

Marvel comics may be going down the sewer, but at least they are making up for that with their movies. Although they take artistic license with their movies, they still manage to produce spectacular blockbusters. I most say that I'm not happy with how they treated Psylocke.

Magneto is my dude. I find him the most interesting and developed. I liked the intro of the newer characters, but found they did not elaborate on them or their backstory enough. The steelbook art for this film is unique and interesting. Apocalypse could have been better.

Another great edition in the franchise. Overall could of developed Apocalypse better. They didn't do the comic character justice, but it is only a movie after all. Standard bluray with some special features. No issues redeeming the digital copy

While the first trilogy was an interesting start into the world of the X-Men, it had its issues. Since the "reboot" happened with First Class and Days of Future Past though, things are looking up for the X-Men movie series. Apocalypse was a fun romp with the mutants, and should be enjoyed by all fans of this team.

Marvels movies always are fun to watch. Some are better than others, but there is always some snarky humor snuck into them. Definitely not the best, but definitely not the worst! Timelines are always fluid, but just relax and enjoy it--it's how the Marvel Universe works!!!

I'm not sure what they were thinking when they introduced Apocalypse but it was a stronger story then I expected his new chapter recasted almost the entire cast..and introduce new cast members great cgI and s good story. If you want a original story thus is the one enjoy.
