We have the Blue Ray of this disk, then bought a new TV. We got the 4k Ultra HD version and did a test. The 4k Ultra HD version was a stand-out from the Blue Ray, which we thought was pretty darned good! If you are into premium visual experience, the price difference was worth it.

The main reason I bought this movie was because of the steelbook case. It is honestly one of my favorite steelbook cases I own. The writing on the inside of the case makes for a great background. Everytime I watch the movie, I like it more and more.

I have watched countless super hero / mutant movies, over the years, and this genre still works for me. The special effects are outstanding AGAIN and the movie has a pretty good vibe. This blu ray now joins my 'flock' of films to be viewed AGAIN.

I am a big X-Men fan and was really exited to see Apocalypse finally in a X-Men movie. Was a bit disappointed with Apocalypse costume and would have been great if they actually had him do more in the movie. Overall, i did enjoy the movie. Picture and sound quality were good as expected.

Terrific story with non-stop action and so many wonderful stars-Jackman, McAvoy, Fassbender, Lawrence, Turner, Peters, Munn, and Holt. Today's incredible special effects and computer graphic augmentations really bring comic books to life. Apocalypse is a can't miss for any X-men Fan.

Good movie that took some liberties with the original comic (most likely due to licensing issues). The movie is heavy on special effects, even more so than most super hero movies. Overall, the quality of the special effects were really well done.

This movie does a goo job of living up to the x-men franchise. It suggests the beginnings of some of the x-men characters and could be laying the foundation for other spin off characters similar to what has been done with the Wolverine series?

Good movie but over the top. Several Xmen in this movie are simply too powerful, so thats what I mean by over the top. But I still liked it. Great Special Effects. Bottom line is if you liked the other Xmen movies, you should like this one too.

Waited to watch this movie at home and worth the wait that's for sure. I first off love the steelbook. I'm a steelbook collector. That alone makes it worth the buy and the movie is great. Magneto is by far my favorite X-Men character. It's best to watch these in their order as well.

Great Movie & Great Collectable.... If your are a Marvel Comic enthusiast this is a must have to add to your Marel collect. And if you're just a Blu Ray "Steelbook" collector this is also a must have! When it comes to buying Blu Ray "Steelbooks" Best Buy has always been my first chose!

Out of all the ones. This one hit the spot. It brought me back to my fox X MEN 90's cartoons. It did poorly at the box office and to me it didn't make sense. It was freaking awesome! Even though it was a few minutes. The Wolverine seen was amazing!! Almost she'd a tear. Thanks Jackman!

I’m my opinion days of future past was a lot better but by no means is this film terrible. The introduction of the young versions of Jean and Scott are great and it sets up other movies for the future. Magneto is great as always.

Lots of special effects and they look great in 4K. A super mutant from the past seems to have taken on so many skills that he could be invincible. As with all X-Men films, you must suspend your disbelief to fully enjoy the film, but they manage to involve many mutants into the story.

I think this is the best of the Fox made Xmen Universe films. They have learned from the meh outings of the original 3 films and built on them with the new cast. This has one of my favorite uses of slow motion effects in a film. Definitely fun.

I enjoyed this movie. It wasn't as good as Days of Futures Past, but it was still very enjoyable. The "cameo" that I won't ruin was amazing, and Quicksilver was again very enjoyable. Fassbender as Magneto is still one of the best castings ever.

It is worth watch just to keep up. But I find that as this alternate time line rolls on the characters get cluttered up. I understand to restart but why the character list is long and there are many more x-men that a movie could be made about.

X-Men: Apocalypse provides what many adrenaline junkies who go to tentpoles like this want, namely lots of visual and aural excess. The film delivers on the spectacle angle while really touching the emotions the way the best X-Men entries have.

This movie was a lot better than what most reviews are saying. This movie was actually filmed in 3D so ttis is great for 3D fans. The sound is also pretty good....I just wish it included the Dolby Atmos soundtrack ttha is on the 4K UHD version.

As an avid Marvel comics fan and reader of the original books, I was pleasantly pleased and disappointed at the same time. I know there will always be creative license when creating new movies. I still enjoyed it and added it to my collection!

I probably wouldn't have bought the steel book if it wasn't on sale. The case has a nice look and feel to it. It contains extras that I never use, but I'm sure people do purchase and enjoy the special features and footage that comes with the steel box. I really enjoyed the movie.
