You have to own the original. Very good story which introduces the Xmen characters to the audience. Patrick Stewart is great as Professor X, as is Ian McKellen as Magnito. They compliment each other well in a Yin/Yang friendship that seeks the same results but through opposit methods. Good entertaining movie.
