    The story of the Pheonix Saga in X-Men is great. This movie does a so-so adaptation of it. Once again, Fox bungles a great story.

    Movies are meant to have multiple subplots in order to have a satisfying ending. There were even subplots developed in earlier films. However, this film ditched all of that and just went for the single, main plot in the most boring way possible. There are a few satisfying scenes, but the movie isnt nearly the finale we all hoped for. Nor was it the faithful adaption that fans hoped to see after The Last Stand.
